This is how good Aaron Judge is: He had a season so great in 2022, that he beat out Shohei Ohtani for the MVP. Ohtani who got 4th in Cy young voting , post a total WAR of over 10, hit over 30 HR and drive in about 100, OPS near 1000, and earn 15 wins on the mound with over 200K's. Judge was so great that he beat THAT season for MVP

Ohtani moved out of his league, so they can both win as many MVP's as they want now. the NL MVP is , no doubts, Shohei Ohtani with his 55/55 season. And in the AL, Judge is gonna repeat as MVP with zero doubts. He's making a push for 60 HR with an OPS near 1200 right now. As a pure hitter, I'd say the only guys in Judge's league this year are Shohei Ohtani and Juan Soto. That's it!

Sad everyone assumes Roids. No, he's just a really big guy. He's the biggest guy in the history of the major leagues to play in the outfield. He's 6-7 and weighs 287 pounds. Seems pretty normal for his size and stature. Roids, he'd be over 300 given his height.
It's just rare for someone as big as him to be so agile and quick. So yeah, he's just able to belt home runs. I'm just going to say it. Not a Yankees fan. He's the best power hitter I've ever seen. Not the best pure hitter I've ever seen. That is Manny Ramirez (I'm a guardians fan - so maybe I have bias)..

The only reason he isn't a no doubt HOF yet is he hasn't yet played the 10 season minimum. For those who doubt, here are his credentials.
Fastest ever to 300 homers by games played and At Bats
11th all time in Slugging Percentage
    10th all time in OPS
    2nd all time in AB/HR
8th highest WAR/162 all time (2nd highest for RF, and 1 of the 7
ahead is PED cheat Bonds so really he's legit in 7th)
Has already topped an average HOF in the Black Ink Test
Has a higher than average 7 year peak WAR
(and this includes his 1.1 WAR in the shortened 2020 season)
After this years over he will have 2 of the 25 greatest seasons
    ever for a batter
Single season AL HR record holder
Three 50 homer seasons (assuming he hits 6 more this year)
    ROY winner
Will be a 2 time MVP winner and everyone knows it should be 3
Career OPS+ of 171 and OPS over 1.000
When we think of HOF players, we should be thinking of multiple types. The long term consistency of stat compilers, and the shorter term undeniable dominance of guys who were the best in the game for a period. Judge probably gets to 500 homers, which would make him a lock, but he is already HOF worthy on his current numbers. When a guy consistently keeps doing things that have only ever been done by 3 guys named Ruth, Gehrig and Ted Freaking Williams, you have to know he's incredible.
Bonds was a freak, but he needed PEDs to put up the types of seasons Judge has been putting up consistently for about a 3 year stretch so far. Since 2022, he has hit 143 HR in 385 games played.
