I never realized this song existed. I'm very familiar with The Real Folk Blues, but the bass line and some other differences stood out right away. Always good to find another amazing song to this amazing soundtrack. Even if I haven't rewatched Cowboy Bebop in a while I'll always love listening to the ost.

@@jwest88 It's a happier version it seems. Real folk blues is about embracing pain. the "i cut myself just to feel alive" kinda mood. "See you space cowboy" is about hope and believe in love. At least that's how i would interpret it. I could be absolutely wrong 😂. Regardless, both versions are awesome.
Fr this is a master piece for its artstyle itself , for something this old . These days animes be so lazy in drawing the backdrop so detailed , side characters too , so well it's insane

If theirs any anime that could successfully transition from an animation to a live action. It’s cowboy bebop. The series still will need outstanding writing, music, pacing, & most importantly. It must be no shorter or longer than 26 episodes.

See You Space Cowboy is Spike defiantly choosing his eternal love for Julia and holding it in his heart. There's no more regret or even pain. Just the knowledge that he will love her forever and that he will reunite with her in the afterlife.
