    Hey, just want to say this is very helpful video. I have had a hair transplant nearly 2 weeks ago and I've bought finastride and minoxidil but have been a little bit hesitant, but this has really helped me. Thanks again.

    I been taking Finasteride and biotin for years. Biotin cheap and a vitamin to keep up. It makes your hair grow faster healthier and it’s suppose to thicken your hair up. It doesn’t hurt to keep taking it.

    Finasteride keep your hair on your head. Believe me. Don’t regrow,just keep what’s left. I take every day finasteride for 10 years now. Never had problems. 2 weeks ago i transplant hair in front are to cover high edges and create nice straight hairline. By the way My dad is bold completely in front and back head area.

    Beard game on point! Don’t need to do a MATTDOMINANCE, that’s for sure 😁
    Crown is ridiculously good and the style of your hair at the moment is great 👍🏻
    I skipped Finasteride after my HT as I used it pre HT for like 2 years and didn’t see much difference.
    Been on Dutasteride for just over a year now with no sides and the density on top is much better…..
    Keep posting!

      Cheers man! 👌🏻 How’s your hair looking? Particularly your donor?

      @@HairlineConfessions I’ll definitely send a video tomorrow, I forgot last time….
      Donor looks good as long as not too short…. I did have it shaved quite short about 3 weeks ago but the length is longer now.
      I’d rather have hair at the front and the crown as you can’t really see the donor if your hair isn’t too short
      In total I think I’ve had about 5000 grafts from 3 Ops (hairline lowered, crown done and the temples)

    In terms of the hairline, I say go for it and get it lowered and straightened slightly….
    If not it will just keep bugging you like it did me….. Especially as you are young and your donor is still good enough to do it and you are young enough to enjoy it 👍🏻
    They said the same thing to me about having a natural, mature hairline, but I wouldn’t change my straight hairline for anything. Really nice to style and really nice to brush it back when fresh out of the shower

    One of the best results I’ve seen. Really honest insightful videos. I wouldn’t get anything else done to your hair. I think you did a video talking about hairlines and mentioned Jack Grealish and Steven Gerrard. They have that hairline naturally. Lowering your hairline might change the contours of your face.

    • @HairlineConfessions
      @HairlineConfessions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely pal. It’s something I keep changing my mind on, but if I did get it lowered it would only be slightly. So I guess I’ve got to work out if it would be worthwhile.

    Hey man great channel! Can I please ask you for your advice on this? I just had a hairtransplant.
    Just to give you some background, I'm a 37-year-old guy with a Norwood 2/3 hairline and some thinning in my donor area. I've been on Finasteride for two years, which has helped me stop losing hair, but I haven't seen much regrowth.
    I recently had a hair transplant, and now I'm thinking about trying topical Minoxidil. I've heard it can help about 50% of guys. But how can I determine if it will work for me, especially after a hair transplant? The challenge is that the transplant itself is expected to enhance my hair, making it difficult to distinguish topical Minoxidil's impact.
    I'm considering two options and would like to hear your opinions:
    1. Should I wait a year to see the full results of the hair transplant before trying topical Minoxidil? The advantage is that I can see if topical Minoxidil works on its own, but I might miss out on benefits for both the transplanted and existing hair.
    2. Or, should I start using topical Minoxidil now, about four weeks after the transplant, to maybe get the best results? The downside is that it's tough to tell if it's topical Minoxidil or the transplant that's working.
    I'd appreciate your thoughts on these choices.
    Just to explain again, my doctor told me that there's some miniaturisation in my donor area.

    • @HairlineConfessions
      @HairlineConfessions  ปีที่แล้ว

      I used minoxidil for my crown for about a year but was never fully convinced by it. Finasteride is the one for me. Where did you get yours done? You should speak to your clinic about it.

  • @billshinas27
    @billshinas27 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi mate, your crown is very full, great density. If you were using it just for the crown, I personally would STOP, and continue with finasteride to maintain , your crown is thick, so unnecessary really.

    • @HairlineConfessions
      @HairlineConfessions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I stopped the minoxidil at 12 months. Just finasteride now 👍🏻

      @@HairlineConfessions perfect, I had surgery May 20, and crown is thin, but it is extremely early Offcourse. I do want to use it on the crown, and hopefully get your result, then stop with minoxidil.

    You have to consider weather having good sex is worth more then your hair I’m taking 1mg Finesteride minoxidil for one year an three months.. i had no side effects first eight months. IT’s regrowing my crown an hairline. I started getting side effects low libido an and really bad brain fog difficult sleeping you name it I got every side effects. I stopped for about two months. I’m now back on it im still shedding when I wash my hair an comb it. It is working again but the side effects are coming back I still won’t a hair transplant but I’m reconsidering because of side effects. I’m going to try and reduce dosage an try an figure it out. Because there is no use having a transplant because you need to take it for ever after woods.

      When you say “brain fog” what do you mean exactly? Difficulty sleeping is one I haven’t heard before to be honest. Could you elaborate on that too?
