I was so intrigued about how the style of the song & dancing was going to be because Jimin and Taeyang have such different styles. We ofc know how Jimin dances but Taeyang has always been street dancing/sensual asf. But this choreo highlighted both of them really well. And Jimin’s bridge part was really good.

I really like the way their voices blend together. We don't get to hear Jimin play in his lower register too often, so I always appreciate a chance to hear it. I think this was perfect and I was thrilled to see Jimin get equal time in the video to do his thing, yet he still was respectful to Taeyang - as it’s his song after all! I loved that he showed off his
lower register - we heard a little different tone to his voice in a couple of places. But we still got a little dose of his signature high notes at the end!
I feel like this is a fantastic prelude to Jimin’s solo album and he’s pulling out the big guns on that one!

Taeyang is part of Big Bang, one of the biggest groups in kpop. Taeyang is in his mid 30's and doesn't age whatsoever and still has that IT voice and dancing. Jimin had said on a show a long time ago when BTS was still pretty new that his ideal collab would be Taeyang. Crazy to think it came full circle! Also, this is Taeyang's song and Jimin is featuring in it so the spotlight is going to be more on Taeyang..lol. Taeyang is also the senior artist compared to BTS so it makes sense. I think they gave plenty of shine to Jimin! I'm an Army, but every time BTS is part of someone's collab, everyone treats it as BTS' and don't really give a lot of credit to the original artist.

Dude, Taeyang could easily overshadowed Jimin, took all the high notes, not let him wear eye catching color, did not add those effects in his parts (where it travels from one side of your ear to the other then back to the center in some parts), etc. But he didn't. Because in all his collaborations, he always make sure to highlight the person he's collaborating with and show their strengths. This guy was able to captivate millions ALONE in his earlier solo songs and was able to hold a world tour ALONE. He's the one that's holding back.
True taeyang didn't properly showcase his vocals and adlips which are too amazing. He definitely tried to make the song fun not competive.
More people need to know about Taeyang! He's from BIG BANG, the original KPOP Boy Band, before BTS came along! Check out Wedding Dress, I Need a Girl, and Eyes Nose Lips by Taeyang! Taeyang is also Jimin's idol when he was growing up!

Also can we take a second to appreciate Jimin's growth vocally. This man has always delivered but it's always great to see growth in an artist because that means they care about their craft. I've been sensing this since BE dropped. For me, you can tell he has been working hard on improving himself especially during the pandemic because honestly he was carrying BE for me vocally 😭 especially on Fly to my room like wow😭 and the stability in his voice during live performances just keeps getting better like I was blown away during the Busan concert. So I am just so proud of him🥺💜 and I can't wait for his album to drop.

I can't believe you guys didn't notice the Michael Jackson tone in Jimin's voice 😍😍😍😍 They definitely made a great choice putting Taeyang and Jimin together ?! Jimin wasn't trying to outshine Taeyang because it's his song and Jimin is just that type of person. He doesn't even completely let go when performing with his members.
