Jimin's versatility is unlike anyone else. He was literally rapping at the start, then softly transitioned into that angelic timbre of his, and the bridge?! he's the king, when I say he elevates every song he's in it's just unreal. His dancing was amazing, he really knows how to be both fluid and sharp at the same which is something even the best of dancers can't achieve. KING JIMIN!

taeyang is considered an all-terrain idol, he is a great dancer, a great singer, he also grew up in the underground hiphop scene in Korea, he can rap and has done collaborations with all the best rappers in the industry with Psy, zico, mino, tablo, Gdragon (subunit), etc. the best vocalists in the industry have declared themselves fans of taeyang, plus he has a lot of awards, but also seeing him live is crazy, he has a huge stage presence, a beautiful voice. TAEYANG is the idol of idols and we all love him
You have to be patient DT. This is not Jimin’s solo yet. He has to save those sexiness, contemporary, dance master whatever you call it. So this MV and collab is just perfect. They complement each other a lot!

And this is TaeYang, the idol that Jimin has look up to.
That respectful side of Jimin is also the reason why he doesn’t cover other artist’s songs or performances anymore because he knows some of his beloved Army & fans would go little too crazy & would comment something like ‘Our Jimin is way better then the original singer!’, just like when Jimin & JK did cover the ‘We don’t talk any more’ & others .
This we can see also clearly whenever Jimin perform with other, sometimes we can see him keep glimpsing & looking at others time to times & when something happened on stage, Jimin is the one who was there to help & assist them.
That is why I think Jimin would only show his full explosive talents & his lethal magical charms when he do his own solo, just like ‘Lie’, ‘Serendipity’, ‘Filter’!

I thought it was perfect! Jimin had 50% screen/vocal time - we know there WAS a lot of concern for Jimin over that. Also, I think they wanted the focus to be more on their vocals (I noticed some different tone to Jimin’s voice here and there, which was so great!) This really is a monumental collaboration- 2 Kings of KPop together!
We also have to keep in mind this IS Taeyang’s song; even so, he didn’t overshadow Jimin and vice versa! It’s a fantastic song that showcases both of them beautifully. Jimin is a masterpiece! What a fantastic prelude to his solo album!!!💜💜💜. Taeyang is gorgeous and has a beautiful voice - they have a lot in common, a very nice ‘vibe’ 😝

Taeyang (age 34) was/is a member of the group Big Bang, 2nd generation in K-Pop and they had the top spot on lock down until they went into the military. Taeyang was called the "Chris Brown" and the "Neo" of the K-Pop world. So, yes they decided to go with the sexy "vibe" and not do a hard dance break. If you look at Jimin in his early days, when asked who was his favorite idol, he always said "Taeyang of Big Bang". There is also footage of Jimin dancing to one of Taeyang's songs. So for Jimin this is an opportunity for him to work with someone that he has looked up to for most of his life. Apparently, Taeyang wanted Jimin to treat him like a friend (dropping the honorific) when they finally met, however, Jimin just could not do it because of his level of respect for Taeyang as an artist and senior. (Check out Taeyang's solo songs: I need a girl; Wedding dress; Eyes, Nose, Lips; and Ringa Linga).
The lyrics says girl we got that vibe, so I'm thinking it's about a man and woman vibing together! Taeyang is around 33 and is married with a child and is a very good vocalist and dancer.

I was at the song release last night and like 40 minutes after that, the reactions started like BAM! I watched a reaction by Taeyang fans that were not BTS fans as I understood (they were 2 Korean guys) and they mentioned that one of Taeyang's "signature" characteristics was showing himself shirtless when he was still with Big Bang, and made some other comments on "moves" he is known for, somewhat like Jimin flipping his hair and body rolls.
They really liked the chemistry and were sort of shocked how well they fit together, just like us ARMYs.
