TBH I am a sucker for Margaret of Anjou. She had to deal with an incredibly difficult mariage - which clearly did not meet expectations -, a nobility that was divided and did not like a female stranger having a say in the future of the realm, but instead of giving up, she kept on fighting, she risked her life and the one of her son to protect their crown. In the end she lost, and History remembers her as a vilain for that. She was not loved, but damned, she was brave as hell!
I really like Margaret Beaufort and Elizabeth Woodville, both were incredibly strong women who with their convened efforts did what no one thought possible: end the war of the roses.
Love Anne Neville. Not so much as she's portrayed by Phillipa Gregory's novel, but in the show yes, and also from other independent study of her as a historical figure. TWQ's portrayal of Richard and Annes relationship is fantastic (until you get to the BS at the end where they make him fall in love with Elizabeth).
I watched again the show these days this video came in time ❤ My favorite is Margaret Beaufort but I also love Elizabeth Woodville too.I don't know very much Anne Neville but I think she is cool too x
