This is not what we were expecting to find there. It doesn't really support the study we are working on, but was still exciting to get out and document an interesting site after about 3 weeks of down time. We have been grounded lately by cataract surgery . . . first JJ's (hers is complete now) and now mine (I got first eye lens replacement the day after this visit and will get second this week). So we slipped this trip in between. After 3 weeks of down time, we opted for a relatively easy hike/climb. Now we will need to wait another couple of weeks before our next outing.
@@GolioEndeavors Hope you both have good recoveries...maybe it'll be cooler by your next outing (I'm certainly hoping for that). As I recall there's another site in walking distance of this one.
