    Hi Tina. These are definitely scrumptious. I love the ones with the addition of the lace and bow. Also, the two tones papers. You have such fantastic ideas. My late husband used to always say... it's not your kind of camping, etc. It's extremely hot in Morocco, and they also have very strict laws there. I'm glad that your son is enjoying the adventure. I truly hope that your other son feels much better very soon. Here's wishing you a fabulous week ahead. 🌈🤗💚🌻

    I was able to complete 16 items while mass making with this video. The one with a solid strip down the center gave me the idea to sew it into the shape of a butterfly and trim up to the sewn design. I made two of them and will be making many more. I will put on IG and tag you. Thank you so much for this video.

    Hi Tina! Thanks for your paper ruffles video! Just love this idea! Something I do with fabric scraps or when sewing small quilt blocks is to have a few ready to sew. Then, I sew one cluster/block and before taking it off my machine, I place the next one in front of the foot and begin sewing, and on and on. They all will be attached when I'm done and I simply snip each one apart. Reducing the amount of thread and the sewing time. Hope this works for you! Hugs from Utah! 🥰

    Tina, this was a great video, oodles of ideas that you demonstrated (as opposed to just mentioning them) & really clever & fun additional ephemera to add on! I haven’t ever tried to make ruffles, but I’m fired up to try some now! Which method should I try?! Gee, I like them all! Your pink dyed paper & the additional bling were my favorite! The addition of lace really jazzed them up also! Even your little box to store them in is cute! I hope you get the William Morris papers in soon, he’s my all-time favorite decorator! I hope your eldest gets back home soon, no worse for the wear, (I agree, rustic bathrooms are not my idea of a good time!) I hope your younger son is feeling better soon, I think tonsil pain is awful, it hurts to swallow, talk, eat & drink, poor kiddo, that is just not fair. And I’m praying for you to feel less anxiety about everything, you’ve got a lot on your plate right now. Take care of yourself & your children! Erica❤I think you have heatproof fingers!

    Hi Tina! To save time and thread, sew your ruffles like I do in quilting.....just keep feeding your strips, one after the other WITHOUT cutting thread off in between each strip until you are done sewing! 😊❤

    Oops lol just made a bunch of these 🙈. Brown paper and fused napkin is also cool for these 😁. I'm so bad at uneven lol 🙈 even though it looks cute! Pleated is the word you're after 😁. Sewing machine is definitely my favourite for ease, plus it's easy to join for a continuous piece. Gluing a front piece is a good idea plus decorative! William Morris style is cool 😎. Lol doing the whole sheet is a good idea 💡. The thinner paper looks easier! Oh I found out, even when choosing borderless, if I'm printing from pdf there's a border, not sure if that's what yours is doing. Loving the layered look 😍 the fused napkin would be thin enough for that. So we got snow last night! All melted now. Ah pleased your son is having a great experience! Best now while he's young! 🙈oh no, we need a proper loo and shower🙊. Still poorly 😷? Poor him 😔. Get well soon! Don't know why but I find it easier pleating as I sew. I'm not as brave with my glue but the nozzle is great for tiny amounts like yours. It makes a huge difference! Great ideas for decorating😍😍😍. Oh those things do weigh you down don't they? So pretty on the lace too 😍. You could go to town with them! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

    Tip: another easy way that I used to mass fold is I pre-cut my strips lay them on top of each other and fold them all together and then just slide them off the top of one another. It seems to be less fast for me. I hope this helps someone. 😊
    Thank you for being such an inspiration! I love watching your videos 🌸💕

    Thicker paper makes thicker strips which means a heavier object to put on a journal page. Just something to keep in mind. These all are great ways to make strips, even crafting in the car or away from home.

    Hey Tina, I love doing ruffles. Yours turned out so pretty! I have an idea for another ruffle. I learned in the other side of the paper crafting world. You might want to try. so you do the ruffles like the ones you did but do half of it One way then turn it around and do the same ruffle. Then you get an interesting look. if you turn it over you have a nice place to put a cabochon or anything really you could even stamp on it I really like them I made several while I was watching your video, I love your Ways too. It’s nice to learn new things. I watch your old videos every day sometimes all day long. I have learned lots. How many years have you been on TH-cam? I’m fairly new to your channel and I am loving it! Thank you so much for sharing your techniques. Now I have a lot more ruffles to make. Love and hugs. Robin XX.

    To help with the threads, run one ruffle through the machine, do not remove and begin the next one straightway. Continue and in the end, cut them apart. This leaves you long strings on either end of the whole strip but just a snip between.

  • @Aegopodium
    @Aegopodium ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Tina, sorry for having been absent. Life was nasty .. I can't recall if you have a scoring board... If yes: You can score the A4 paper before folding. Do every second score, turn page, do the scores in between. This way it should be really easy to do the folds!
    I hope you are okay.

    Hi Tina, I've never tried it but maybe a score board every 3/4 inches so it wouldn't be so hard to fold. I'll be trying it with the score board because of my arthritis. Thanks for sharing. Love, hugs and prayers to your mom and dad. Have a fabulous week. Sending love and big hugs Sherry ❤
