I love how 3d printing opens up so many options for modeling. A couple of 3d printing tips. Use a ABS-like resin. Usually not much more cost but is significantly less brittle. Try removing the supports before curing. They generally come off more cleanly while somewhat softer. Also try soaking them in warm water before removing the supports. 50 - 60 degrees C. Most resins become rubbery and supports pop right off. I've never seen black CA glue. That is something I need to look for.
If it helps. Things like the mesh and storage boxes are best left off until after the basic painting. From hobby stores, you can buy scale laser cut leaves. These are handy for covering any damage to parts like the mesh. Personally, I would love a model of the one-off AC4. It was for testing that the AC1 could handle the recoil of the British 17-pounder anti-tank gun. It could. But we didn't have a 17-pounder, and so they mounted twin 25-pounder artillery guns instead for testing. The war ended, and so it was dropped.
@2.43 Or it could be how you have your exposure levels set at to - worth having a go with the cones of calibration (their sites walks through how to understand the exposure tests) and you might find yourself with less swelling in future. Personally, i don't worry about it too much and make use of a bit of cutting and sanding as and when needed.
Lets put things into perspective.... They tested this little "beauty" with twin 17" Pounders it did not explode or crack the turret ring. Lower than the Sherman with better Armour it could have easily mounted the 17lb. An excellent piece of kit especially considering what the Ozzies had to work with.
It looks like a crossbreed between an Anime tank, a StUG and some WWII era British tank(Matilda?). I like it the more I look at it. Great modeling, hope the painting/weathering goes well! Cheers!
We all know that the Bob Semple tank is the quintessential Australian tank, but this one will do since there don’t seem to be any models of the Semple tank available, though I didn’t look very hard. Now I have to look through The Chieftan’s video catalog to see if he’s tried to get into and out of one (assuming there are any existing examples).
Uh! A Richard for Australia Day: "O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all of us command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada(...)" Hope I got it right.
I warn you mate, youtube activated their horrible automatic translation syncro for your channel, you have an option do deactivate that, stay safe from YT shitty features
I’ve seen a full size Sentinel tank at The Tank Museum in Bovington, and the machine gun covers really are as suggestive as this model represents.

They should have just named The Hermaphrodite.
I dunno what's wrong with you guys but mine certainly doesn't look like that!
It came out great and definitely worth the price. I hope this is one you'll want to paint up sooner rather than later.

I heard that this tank was unusually popular with ships. (If you get it you get it)

If you want a resin model of an AC1 Sentinel there are several available in various scales on e-bay.
Cool

The Bob Semple tank was a New Zealand design not an Australian one.

I'm watching this on a day other than Jan. 26th. I'm watching on Jan. 25th.
Nice video Herbert.
If you have a question or a problem next time you are 3D printing, just ask. I am not that hard to find on Discord.

Everything is huge in australia

Should be named the AC1 Phallus
Australia tank? Where is the poison-snake-launcher?
Resin prints are very brittle in general.
The pen is mightier.
We miss you, Sean.
