when opening the extracted file (5:13) on a Sonoma machine Fist starts a verifying process. Then I get the message that the downloaded file is corrupt??? Even when downloading another version of OS from the App Store? I used RAR extractor pro from Apple.
12:36 "You're installer must be saved in your application folder" How can I save it there? You didn't show how you got all those installers into your application folder. I tried just copy & pasting it from the Base System but that didn't work when trying it in the terminal. Also, when trying the alternative method, there is no SharedSupport folder within the Contents folder. The last method with the 3rd party app didn't work either. I get an error saying Error encountered. An error occurred. Try ejecting the destination disk and reinserting it, or rebooting. It probably couldn't be unmounted to erase it. Help please! This was the last step!
Please don’t worry, you might have missed or done something wrong. Will you please tell me which operating system you want to create a Bootable USB for? Also, let me know which Mac you are using. Please email me some screenshots for a better understanding.
I was able to create the high sierra bootable usb and it loads on the macbook pro but when I try to select the internal drive it does not appear. Only the bootable drive appears and it tells me there is not enough storage in it. The internal drive is connected and otherwise shows up as Macintosh HD when I start with options. It also shows up in disk utility so I know the drive is there. Any suggestions?
Can you create a step-by-step process on how to create a bootable USB installer for macOS Sonoma on a macOS running Sierra? Either via apple site or opencore legacy patcher. Thank you
Hi, i've tried step by step and created the bootable USB drive but during installation, only the bootable usb drive is shown to be selected for the installation. I have a MacBook Pro 2010 , a working bootcamp windows11 installed on the HD and the install dmg downloaded is Sierra 10.12. Thanks
