    • @ParappatheRapper
      @ParappatheRapper 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I mean everyone is different too. I was born 1990 and I have seen The Battle of Britain and my tastes and dress mirror James more than Lucy. I will say also I was brought up in the Midwest so being stuck in the past is sort of our prerogative. I took a lot of my taste from that upbringing, but also broke away from a lot of it as well. I think it brings a lot of advantages and older people take to me far better than most of my generation, which is advantageous for me.

    • @arthurfine4284

      It's more of a social class thing than a Generation Z thing. James mentions that Lucy is more posh, and the fact she usually eats takeaways is indicative of how she doesn't have to worry about money. Meanwhile, a working class family will have to make every single cent count, which means being creative with what foods they can afford.

    Since the guessing was on what was in that spread, I hade to look it up. Wikipedia goes: Heinz Sandwich Spread is a blend of salad cream and relish popular in the Netherlands and Britain. It is classified by the manufacturer as a sauce or relish. The relish ingredients are carrots, celery, gherkins, red peppers and mustard in a finely diced spreadable form.

      He'd also be irritated at this comment. It's not sharpening it's honing the edge. The edge of your knife gets burs and bends in it from use. Honing it helps remove the burs and realign the edge.

    I went to a small grocery store near my house here in the US, and I not only found egg, but also an egg slicer! However, when I asked if they had ‘sandwich spread’, they showed me a jar of olive muffuletta relish which indeed advertised itself as a muffuletta sandwich spread. I am quite pleased with how my olive egg sandwich with miracle whip turned out.

    This is still my favorite sandwich. Perhaps it is because I am almost 80 years old. I live in Canada, but grew up in the Netherlands. I make it with Mayo or Miracle whip. I then add either chopped Onion or Chives in season. When purchased from commercial establishments, they tend to use chopped Celery.
