For the first time I 100% agree with Abhijit. I tried watching Kapil Sharma's show a few years ago (When Sidhu was atill on the show) and even though Hindi is my first language I just couldn't understand the humour in it. The ridiculous stints like male pretending to be female makes me wonder how this show became so famous in India! Could it be that its hype and TRP is artificial ?
It's same, i watched the show in tv but didn't laugh, so i thought it's because i am too young to understand the jokes.
Now i am 18 but still don't laugh on jokes of Kapil
KSS single-handedly lowered the IQ bar for the nation - there’s a whole lot of people who love the show and they will cancel you if you disagree. I watched 3-4 of them and felt exactly like you did. This costume overdoing is a borrowed thing from the US. It’s totally cringe.

I’m so much into dark humour and memes which everyone get are no more funny for me tbh,though I’m not a regular viewer of Kapil Sharma show,but sometimes after watching their 10 min clip on TH-cam imhon on watching the whole epi.So it’s very much subjective,keeping in mind that most of the viewers are family audience hence it’s TRP.To that bringing new stints every weekend is itself a big task….
This show was absolutely hilarious when Sunil Grover was in it. His character of Dr Gulati was insane. I used to watch it then but after Sunil Grover, show has become boring

Abhijit just laid bare my emotions about "comedian" Kapil Sharma. I have failed to understand how sane and grown up people consider Kapil Sharma show as comedy. It is truly intolerable cruelty.

I'm a big fan of this show but I notice a growing trend of you having a video call with other panelists and discussing something and laughing. It's good once in a while but this seems to have replaced your stand-alone shows. I prefer those to these multi-panelist podcasts/video meets.
Can you please revert to the earlier status where it was only you touching on a subject and restrict these conversations to perhaps once a month?
