Yamaha makes custom guitars? I’ve got to check them out. I just bought a Japanese Pacifica. I’m supposed to get it before noon today. I haven’t slept tonight because im so excited!
I've had LP's, Strats, Teles, Deans, Jazzmasters, ESP etc. I bought a Revstar 320 on close out for $200.00 and it's one of my favorite guitars I have owned. It's a beautiful looking guitar and a great basic rock machine. Here's a tip for Andrew, I built Architectural models professionally for years. If you cut a little slot with an X-acto into the tip of the glue dispenser you can ride the edge of the wood into that slot and lay down a perfect bead of glue. Looking down on the tip of the glue tip you would cut v shape - it would look like a V looking at the side of the glue tip. You can thank me later with a free guitar! LOL
Interesting look inside Yamaha custom shop. But kinda sad coz less chance to get to make custom shop to make special order for normal or general customer. Maybe in future? 🙂
So, are you guys able to do in custom shop a version of Revstar with 3 pots? You know, 2 volume pots (one for each pickup) and master tone? Tbh, that would be awesome Revstar lineup upgrade :) Lack of second volume pot is the only thing that stops me from buying your regular Revstar guitar :)

Would love to see a Revstar fashioned after a Jr. and simply add neck binding. Call it the Rev 1. Offer a P90 model and a humbucker model. Please?

As a guitar tech, I would say that any good guitar tech can make thar mod for you.
Oh buy one anyhow, they're beautiful and they're great! I have a 320, I love it.
Those 24 fret pacificas need to be a production model.
