BGCE ONBOARD AUDIO translation This is an adapted translation, as accurate as possible to what is heard in the BGCE audio experience onboard, which comes from my experience in the ride and the "on ride" published edited videos. This has been done for a better enjoyment of the BGCE experience. In any case, this is a very intuitive story telling. First, context about the Wayne Minor: - The preshow has english subtitles, therefore no further explanation is needed - The following scene is a kind of walk thru. It holds 3 different newscast videos in the screens, about the taking of Park Robinson by Poison Ivy and its evil plants, as well as other villains involved in the attraction. Second, onboard audio: We enter an abandoned platform of the Robinson Park metro station. Lights tinkle and go out when a train runs through a nearby tunnel. In the old platform, an "escape vehicle" is awaiting us. - The screen showing the next metro trains is hacked by Batman. BATMAN: "Joker could be anywhere, if anything goes wrong I will take control of the vehicle remotely" - AI that controls Batman's escape vehicle says in the background with a female voice: AI: "Toxine in the air detected, starting..." - Suddenly, Oh surprise! Joker intercept us JOKER: "Not that fast! You will serve as bait for Batman. When he shows up, he will be mine! HA HA HA" - The AI seems to detect Poison Ivy in front of us. - Crowning the top hat, Poison Ivy and its plants stop us. POISON IVY: "I don't think so you bat, it seems it's your friends the ones who are going to fall" - Batman intervenes right when we are going to fall. BATMAN: "I take control, let's go!" - During the second inversion, Batman tries to calm us down. BATMAN: "... we are almost there" - Right before the third launch Batman ensures: BATMAN: "We are going to get you out, top speed!" - ...and just when we're leaving the park and coming back to town, we hear a missile shot and it feels like we avoid it through the last inversion, the ZERO G STALL. AI: "Inversion" - We can see Harley Quinn laughs and says HARLEY QUINN: "HA HA HA, fire! Sorry about the mess" - We fall almost out of control through the window of a building. Just in a flash we see a projection of Joker's face laughing out, and right when we are going to be ejected through the roof, something pulls us back (maybe a bat hook?), we stop and we see Joker trapped next to Batman. BATMAN: "Good job. Joker has been captured, but stay alert, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy remains free. We'll take you to a safe place. Open gate 3!" - We face the station while a laser scans the vehicle. AI: "Scanner activated, scanning tracks of the toxine in the vehicle" AI: "Toxines not present" - Clear and safe we leave the ride with the epic BCGE soundtrack in the background.
Congrats to Taylor on 1000 and Matt on 300. Thing I like watching Gotham City Escape do is launch because my home park new Gen Intamin in Velocicoaster has off ride sound effects that covers up the amazing sound of those new Gen Intamin launches

Fun story. Disneyland Paris was originally going to be in Madrid, but after Disney picked France, Warner Bros picked up the land and made a themepark. They also have another Warner Park in Australia and somewhere in Daudi Arabia (I think). It's genuinely better than a Six Flags thanks to its theming. The Park was almost dead, but after almost 27 years of neglect, they made Gotham Escape. Now we just gotta keep our fingers crossed and get more rides.
Ich recently was at Parque Warner (mid August) two days and it was amazing. The park is so gorgeous and they have very good rides. I really loved Batman Gotham City Escape. The theming, queue line, preshow, station, train so phantastic and well designed. And I loved the ride: great airtime and the stall. Also loved the ending with the Spike. One of the best endings of a ride I have ever seen. The good thing was that park opened until midnight so I got a tons of nightrights on Gotham City Escape. The inverted Boomerang was great, too and the two B&M. The western area was so beatiful. Never thought there could be any better western area than Portaventura has. HIghly recommend visiting the park. Batman Gotham City Escape directly made it into my Top 5 coasters.
Funny thing about Rio Bravo, is it was designed as a clone of Wild West Falls at Movie World in Australia. However it was built by Intamin whereas the Movie World one was built by Hopkins. However they named it Rio Bravo which was what Wild West Falls was originally going to be named before they called it Wild Wild West (to match the Will Smith movie). Generally speaking the Hopkins one offered a better ride experience, but it recently had a major overhaul with new boats etc which you guys would have rode. With the original boats, similar to the Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Dollywood flume, the backwards airtime hill was that intense they had to add Lap Bars as the ride originally didn't open with Lap Bars but was added within a few weeks of opening.
Superman is now a contender for my #1. I would literally build a park around a clone of this coaster (with Wildfire trains). Raging Bull and Velocicoaster are my 1 and 2. Gotham City escape looks like it could be better than Velocicoaster.
Hey there! Just visited today and I can confirm GCE is insane! However I've noticed something. For some reason Spain parks have built their tolerances quite tighter than US parks. I'm on the larger side of people (and I mean fater) and I had problems with the restraints from B&M and Intamin on both Shambala, Dragon Khan, Red Force and GCE. In Shambala I even got avised not ride it unless they really very ultra pushed the lap bar into my thighs. I haven't had this experience on equivalent US coasters (e.g. Mako or Kraken). And although big I'm not outstandingly big, I've never had this issue on the US or in Mexico (where I live).
Gotham City is a bit special isn't it? The way it alternates air time and hang time, no element feels wasted. My #1 European coaster. Yes, even above RTH...

@@CoasterStudios True. My brother and I are starting up a Theme Park Charter Company. We are going to do Cedar Fair first because most of the GP don't know that my home park (Canada's Wonderland) is a part of a chain. They just know Six Flags and Seaworld/Busch Gardens.

Today i went for the first time and i have to say…. I was dissapointed, Batman was underwhelming, fun but not elite, and much prefer shambhala and stampida, the opperations were the worse ive seen ( and my home park is Portaventura so yikes) Coaster express was….. well RCCA not great, Arkham was just ok, at least stunt fall and Superman were really fun. As well the lines were horrible, had to use “Pase correcaminos” the parks super pricey for what it is. On the bright side the thememing was good. Unfortunately wasn’t able to do rio bravo. 5/10 Would much preffer the other big parks ive been to; Portaventura, Six flags america and USO, but would still give it another time whenever im in the madrid area.
Taylor, don't let people shame you for having such a high coaster count. Society might say it's wrong but they're just uptight. After all, you're just living your truth, having fun, getting to know yourself better.

Efteling used to be open from 09.00-24.00 in the summer as well, but sadly with their new operation permit, they are no longer allowed to do so.
