ellison torres nah I’d rather buy a van staal Or a zeebaas Also there was a Stella found in saltwater buried in the sand in the ocean for more then 1 and half year And still is perfectly fine
I played w a saltiga at dicks sporting goods and cranking it didn't seem nearly as smooth as when you are doing it. Did you do any maintenance before the test? Like add grease or lubricant?
They are more like redfish. Since you are using 50lb braid and big rod for coasting the big plugs, unless they are 40lb the they don't have a chance. I would imaging on a boat and shallow water it would be pretty cool.
If I had another chance , I would never have bought the saltiga. No joke. I've used it mildly shoreline casting for less than a year, never submerged it in saltwater and sent it in to Diawa. Guess what? The bearing was corroded and the seals had to be changed for a 250.00 payment. Guess what? 7 months and issues again. In all in the hole for 400. I'm going with shimano next. Reimburse me diawa. It ain't worth it!!!! Mahalo for reading

Let it dry wait some days and then reel it again ...
Take the reel and submers it in water and turn the handle 20 time and we'll see.
Reel was designed for Jigging and in that role is SUPERB but not for SURF on the beaches Dito
You have no clue what you’re talking about
They don't let you keep it after a big up like that ?
shame on Diawa !!
this is much like ak47 test...

Yep- I say the same thing!
HEY Guys this is not a SURF Reel so why bother? Like trying Ferrari in NYC as Yellow Cab - total absurd. !!!
