Being generous and kind to others grants favor from the Almighty in the form of "Pahala". And what Jimmy said at the end of the video is absolutely right. The best way to know and appreciate the real Malaysian culture is to accept the kindness and then pay it forward. FYI the fish you had is called a Pomfret. Got basic three types, black pomfret, white pomfret and silver pomfret. A very meaty fish with nearly no bones good for kids and seniors.

It's good that you have been experiencing the Malaysian hospitality and generosity besides enjoying the very nice food. This is the one thing that has always made me proud as a Malaysian. Our hospitality and generosity are in our DNA and we give these to everyone irrespective of race, creed or nationality. You know what Ichang and Jimmy? I also do the same thing. When I have my lunch and I realised somebody that I know having their lunch at the same place, for sure I will pay for them. The ikan pari one is not curry, it's called Asam Pedas. Anyway by making this video, you actually helping the boss promoting their business. If I ever goes to Bangi one day, I will surely want to go there, the sotong bakar look too damn good,and the air asam also look nicely done 😍😍😍
I have taken my dinner but when I saw the table laden with so many "Bakar" dishes, it made me drooling already. Especially that huge Sotong, crunchy mushrooms, tempeh, bittergourds etc. Both of you are surely MALAYSIA FOOD AMBASSADOR!

Where I came from(Penang) some 20+ years ago, I used to eat at least once/twice every week simple but yet very tasty Nasi Ikan Bawal & since I moved to Selangor I couldn’t find such good taste. You know what Ichang and Jimmy? I also do the same thing. When I have my lunch and I realised somebody that I know having their lunch at the same place, for sure I will pay for them. I have taken my dinner but when I saw the table laden with so many "Bakar" dishes, it made me drooling already. Especially that huge Sotong, crunchy mushrooms, tempeh, bittergourds etc.

Thank you IChang & Jimmy for sharing such wonderful & nice makan video. Where I came from(Penang) some 20+ years ago, I used to eat at least once/twice every week simple but yet very tasty Nasi Ikan Bawal & since I moved to Selangor I couldn’t find such good taste.
I will sure make a visit to this place very soon maybe next week. Can’t stop drooling watching the ikan bawal & asam pedas ikan pari 🤤
