I like Josh Pate a lot and value his opinion - I think this game could be closer than some might think due to how each team will try to shorten the game, but I think USC is the better team and gets the dub. Simple thinking here: USC's D has improved. The offense remains solid. Michigan's D is good, not great, and the offense has a lot of room to improve. Simply put: USC will be able to score more points.

Yes it can. And I think it will be. Orji cannot throw the ball.
This game will be won by the team that adjusts more effectively……too many uncertainties between the two teams…If it’s a close first half, then whoever adjusts best, wins…
And that brings up another USC advantage, which is coaching … particularly making effective adjustments in game. Riley and staff are very good at this. Add to this a skilled QB who has deep knowledge of Riley’s system who can read the field extremely well. It’s true Michigan has big boys on defense and they play tough and well, but they’re not the juggernaut of last year. I also would bet the over.
Josh pate is simply a talking head. I don’t respect his knowledge at all tbh
