My boy is 14 years old and you'd think he was 5. Active as ever. As far as being rescued, HE rescued ME. Iraq war vet, '04 and '06. I love him more than anything.
Used to have fully ginger female called Amber she was used in an episode of a programme called Heartbeat. I lost her years ago she's buried in the front garden under an orange rose bush
I've had my orange cat for 8 years. She was about 6 weeks old when she picked me as her person. I got company a couple days ago and she did something I've never seen her do. She ran into the living room, bounced off a box onto the dog then up the front of My friend 😅😅. My friend was standing up at the time. Then the whole time my friend was here the cat stayed on her lap. Even when she put her down, my cat jumped up on her again and cuddled up to her neck. This was very strange behavior. But that's the craziness of having an orange 🧡 cat. 😊😊
They may have had an attractive scent. Some health & beauty products have olive oil which is one option. Laundry items can also have intriguing smells :)
The cat with huge paws stealing Doritos was cute, BUT THE BEST CLIP was the 3 orange cats and 1black cat begging their hooman to turn on the bathtub tap so they could drink.
I have a stubborn and crazy fixed ginger boy. He so wanted me as his human to the point he lived outside my house for 2 years or so. Eventually he conned his way in. Had to win over my husband. The vet guesstimated his age at 12 if not older. Heck he conned his way into his retirement home. He is so unpredictable he chomps on me and my husband. Me right in the face for no reason. Yet 10 minutes later he passed out on your lap
I have FOUR orange babies…two males (who are brothers) and two females (who are twin sisters). They entertain me, just like the babies on this video, each & every day & make my heart very full. ❤
my orange and white stripes tiger was a monster. he hunted the aras dogs for fun and for sport be hrought home living rabbits from a nearby park. when i was in his way in a door or so he did not go around or between my legs . . no . . he jumped over my shoulder. i am 191m tall . . he died with 16 years of cancer 10 years ago. i still miss him ._.
My ginger tom would come to me like a dog every time I called him. I never said "here kitty" - I just said "Here Morris" and he would come on the 1st call every time. We used to play a game where I'd call him, he'd come to me, then I'd go to another corner of the yard and repeat from a different place each time and he always came right to me. I never saw him get tired of it - he always outlasted me.
My almost 14 year old ginger baby is my sidekick, my shadow, my buddy and my health alert cat. He informed me that the lump I found in my breast was indeed Cancer. He pushed his head into the spot and meowed in my face, which he has never done before. The lump I had found, was actually Cancer. Chester knew and told me so. He is my angel. He is my second child. He is smart as a whip and good as gold. If he passes before me I want his ashes laid beside my left hip inside my casket. That is where he has laid since he was 6 weeks old. The only time he didn't lay there was when I had cancer and he laid under my right arm, beside the lump. He is my animal Soul Mate. True story.
My mom does and she was once feral we also had one when I was a kid but he passed away in 09 he was old and in pain so my parents had him put down which was the best for him
Love orange cats! My boy was a snuggle bug!, but loved raiding handbags to see what he could find - ahhhh - car keys! Even bags belonging to visitors😀He would also steal anything shiny like watches and rings !
I love the orange cat meme, but the craziest cat I ever knew was a tuxedo cat we named 'Ziggy'. At one point we had 5 cats and a dog. Each one was very different from all the others. Our dog was our oldest animal. When we got Ziggy, he was the youngest. Every other cat we'd ever picked up - even our oldest mother hen - was real shy and reserved for the first week or two. Exploratory, cautious, rather calm. Didn't get to their playfulness until after a certain time. But not Ziggy. As soon as we put this little psycho on the floor at home, he immediately bolted off to test everyone in the house by giving every cat and our dog a full body play tackle to try and start up some fun. And I do mean tackle; he would start at a distance, get speed, and try to barrel them over into rolling across the floor. Mixed results for his responses - one cat was so bewildered it didn't even react, and another immediately 'put him in his place', if you catch my drift - but this was the precursor to how he'd be for the rest of the time we had him. Constantly tearing across the floor, doing back flips off of walls, base jumping from the tops of high places, trying to yank our other cats into his shenanigans - bro had no chill and infinite energy. Surprisingly, our older doggo was REALLY into this, and usually reciprocated Ziggy until he got on in years. To his credit, Ziggy came from a pretty terrible and abusive home, said the shelter. Normally a cat would come out... not in the best shape, personality wise. He even had a broken tail - totally bent 90 degrees to his left, right at the mid point. Irreversible, presumably because it got broken and was just left like that for too long. But he was easily the most energetic and playful cat we've ever owned and never went through any kind of depressive phase. I suppose he was just really happy to find a nice place to live.
I have had two ginger cats as a child. The first one loved water. He would be the first come bath time and had to be locked out of the kitchen when the dishes were being done. Otherwise, he would take a bath. The second had a phobia of water so bad she would run home as soon as it started to rain. Both great cats, remember after almost 40 years ago.
When I was a little girl, my family had an orange cat. He was so relaxed and just, well, a cat. Very intelligent. The same goes for my current ginger, Dublin. He's quite smart and relaxed as well, and, while a bit weird, as all cats are, he's not stupid like a lot of people think orange cats are. Still, all cats are wonderful, even if they don't seem like it, no matter their colour. Orange cats just have a bit more specialness to them.
i literally had to remove the plastic door on my Orange Crush's litter box he just scratched at it for hours going in and out drove me almost crazy lol
We had an orange cat when I was little. My mother was astounded with how patient he was with me, playing dress up & going into my doll carriage for walks. "Any other cat would have scratched her to ribbons" I remember her saying.
I had an orange cat, Fred, for 15 years. Then moved in with roommates. They tried one day to taunt me by bugging the cat. Dude we got your cat Me: that’s cool We are going to put him in the microwave Me: that’s nice No really Me: Fred can take care of himself. Ok. They opened the microwave door. Me: Hey Fred, the microwave will hurt you. What the, own crap, wholly s**t. Fred seriously was hurting them until they put him down. He didn’t run away he just slowly walked away. Me: see what I mean. Fred can take care of himself. They never tried to be mean to Fred again.
I lost my ginger guy too soon at 7 years, but that was an amazing 7 years. He was lovably cuddly and randomly bitey. The memory of Oppy will live on with the scars that I have on my hands. I miss you little butt head.
My orange tabby oddly enough perhaps sits on the other end of the spectrum. As she is more skittish than anything else, and also kinda prefers not being around humans she doesn't know. Although she sometimes has zoomies, it's mostly with her grey/brown tabby sister whom of which unlike her, is an absolute chonk. whereas she's kinda somewhat smol. And the funny thing is, her sister is more the doopy goofy one instead too.
"This grumpy customer seems to be addicted to this brand new service on the market." Huh? Or you could have said; "this kitty is addicted to being vacuumed."

I had an orange tabby that i found behind a dumpster, he was pretty skinny and dirty so i put him in a paper bag, and he calmly peaked out and watched while i biked us a mile and a half home. He was the cuddliest most adorable little menace, had my 90lb black lab scared to eat his own food for years lol.

My cat liked to take baths. Ginger cats are the same way, apparently. Max was a gray tabby.
Don't call cats dumb!
I hated that!
Wow, I missed that :/
Crab walking at 0:19… too funny!
Never point a finger at cars, this will make them think you're challenging them and therefore they WILL pounce at you.

Watching this as my orange cat rolls around on my feet.
Update: Now he somehow managed to pick up my stapler and he just dropped it at my feet.

I love when cats do that hunch back sideways hopping thing. Especially when they’re smol!
I have an Orange Baby myself, and he is VERY mischievous (lol). Love him to the Moon and back, and hope he lives forever. ❤❤❤❤❤
We all wish that!
More than half of the things these orange cats do I've seen mine do. It's so weird. 😂

We can say that cats have a lot of personality. 😺
"How did I get the weird one?"
They're all weird...every last one of them.
Nothing to do with "orange". Just "cat". And "personality", of course :D
"The door is open" 😂
now im ABSOLUTELY sure that every orange cat shares a single brain cell and they take turns with it
Ginger cats are like ginger people
Thank you, I'll take that! I may be a blond now, but I'm a redhead, and do love a red-haired cat!
Orange cats are the sweetest and calmest cats. If you have one that is attacking you or is acting out, the problem is definitely you.
Don't use your hands for play
Hands should only be for petting.
