Agreed. Two extremes with these two. I think we can be positive with our current position within the context of the transition our club is going through - top 4 IS a big deal considering the disruption and risk involved in Wenger leaving and a new manager coming in. There's a difference between getting carried away and celebrating progression. It's unbelievably frustrating that the season started with 'it's a long term project' and 'our aim is to get back in the Champions League' and as soon as the team starts to get results we want to see, the benchmark moves.

@@marcofurst5720 we have a manager that at least is tactically flexible. We have a manager that gets the players to at least perform to their max in big games more consistently. We have a manager that has shown he can get the best out of some of our underperforming players like Bellerin, Xhaka, Laca when compared to the last years of Wenger and someone who doesn't cuddle players like Ozil which is what we've asked for. We also have a much less divided fanbase compared to when Wenger was there, which makes for a less tense atmosphere, home and away. Those are some differences I've noticed.

Yes we are and we deserve it, we haven’t been on this road for a long time and we’re just enjoying the journey, Claude you need to enjoy the moment. At the start of the season you must’ve had expectations, well, for a lot of us fans top four and Europa league success was the dream in Unai Emery’s first season, our dream is still alive, at this stage of the season for the last two or three seasons we’ve been out of everything so plz mate be happy for us and smile.
The next 8 games are key, not only does it place us into the champions League but it also gives us an indication of the players that will stay and which ones will go due to the mentality
