  • I picked up an ALM PEXP-2 this week, which, among other things, will do MIDI clock sync. Sat down this morning and played with the Prophet 6 arpeggiator, synced to the eurorack.
What's cool is the Prophet 6 also has an on-board sequencer, and the PEXP-2 can transmit start/stop commands over MIDI as well. I feel like this has some good potential, for doing cool stuff, combining the P6 and the eurorack.

How do you connect the Prophet to the Eurorack. I have a Prophet xl that I would love to connect to the Eurorack.
    Thank you

At the time I was using Pamela's New Workout with the PEXP-1 expander, sending MIDI clock from the eurorack to the Prophet. Now days I'm using the Hex Inverter Mutant Brains, and going the other way around, sending MIDI from the Prophet to the eurorack. If you want to pass the audio signal in and process it with your rack, you can use something like the Jorganaloge Receive 2 or just get a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter and run that into a 2 channel eurorack amplifier.
