- Hello my lovely bunch of people! Today I am bringing to you another Regine Velasquez Reaction video! She is singing a cover of the song "Go To Distance", by Michael Bolton. I reacted to Katrina Velarde's cover of this song, and someone said Regine sang it too, so naturally I had to check it out :D

That's just Regine's singing face (because she knows it will just be easy peasy for her) and we live for it, she's a great story teller, too. #Queen ☺️👑🇵🇭✨
This woman has been singing since she was only 8.. now she's already 53... she has made a lot of impacts to all the lives of filipino singers younger than her and her contributions to Philippine's music industry is unparallled.she made lots of concerts for a cause to help the marginalized sectors of the country and she guests for other artists' concerts for free. Regine is the best Filipino singer ever lived.Regine is Regine. Thank u so much for reacting on her and she deserves that.
She shows the emotion of the song through her singing, not on her face. You'll also notice that on the first video of hers that you reacted. She makes hitting high notes seem easy. But she later on learned how to act them out. She really just sings with absolute ease. That's what's amazing about her.

I truly appreciate your honesty and real in your Reactions. That is why I appreciate your Vlogg all the time. Keep it up. Y the way, just to let you you know, I practically had watch Regina's concerts may they be in the provinces in the Philippines or in Major concert venues in Metro Manila since she was only 14 years old until she grew up as lady and became a much better performer. All these young singers now in the Philippines had Regine as their Idol and their Guro. Now that she is 52 years old, still she remains to be the highest paid FILIPINA Concert Queen. I am now 63 years old, yet I still watch every time I had the opportunity to attend her concerts. I even travel to even how far the province where she performs. She is a hell of a Performer. 😂🎉😅

Hello usually in a TV show like this she doesn't show much emotions while singing instead portray as a DIVA with flawless performances. But during her concerts she would be different and show a lot of emotions in her performances. You should watch Regine performing "Love Story - Where Do I Begin - Voices Of Love Concert. Thank you for admiring her and continue to react to her videos. You will be amazed.

I remember her saying in one interview that there was an era where she’d been singing the same belted songs and she had lost interest in performances. I think that’s the time when she’d perform in poker face.
That's interesting. It does make somse sense. Also, I reacted to a few so far and the songs she performed had the same kind of composition.
@@fashionblank these performances were from a Sunday show where she was one of the main performers. She was expected to sing the same songs which she’s been known for. But when she transfered to another show (network) i could feel her passion for performing is back. She gets to sing different songs, does collab with new singers, sing new songs. But of course she still has the effortless look in belting 🤣

That's the problem with other artists. They do not have a distinctive voice unlike Regine. When you hear Regine sing, you know it's her.

Katrina followed Regine's rendition of the song when she performed it on the Wish Bus. That alone shows how much influence has on the current generation of singers in the Ph. She is a living legend and a historic figure in our country's music industry. The current queens Morissette, Katrina, KZ and Jona are the ones continuing the legacy. Sarah G although not as powerful a vocalist is still the most popular artist next to Regine.
You can hear the influence too, and it's so lovely and inspiring to be honest :)

The young Regine Velasquez can rally sing and belt effortlessly, she just need to open her mouth and there she is producing the most beautiful sound..emotions didn't show on her face but just in her voice..when she grow a little older she ask how should she really feel singing each songs she's gonna sing and so she acted it out..as she grew into maturity she was able to internalized and put her self in each song songs she sings that eventually maker her not just the greatest singer but one of the greatest song interpreter and story teller in the Philippines that's why she became a favorite interpreter of many composers in the Philippines..

Definitely a new subs here. According to one of her interview that she used to sing those high belt songs many times to a sunday variety shows and makes her look flat affect or poker face when singing them.

All Katrina's versions were just copied from Regine, of course, Regine is Katrina's idol like everybody does. One of Regine's versions that Katrina won't dare to sing is Light of a Million Mornings. That song is very hard to sing, Morissette tried but didn't quite match Regine's power on the last note.
