Hello I want to be english teacher.so I have been preparing. But ı am not solve test. (Some ask style) .therefore can you include english test style your videos for example:reduntant sentence ,paragraps completion and situation... please help me this subject:)
Oh wow, this is a little different from what we normally teach. We tend to prepare students using grammar, vocabulary and other lessons!! Sorry, i don't think we'll be able to help with this :(
It seems like the opposite, past simple implies it's finished when PPC doesn't imply anything. Otherwise how can you use PPC for recently completed actions?
@@evolve8733 I get your confusion. 1. They ran for 5 hours = finished (no present result or evidence) 2. They’ve been running for 5 hours. = unfinished (focus on activity and answering the question “how long?”) 3. They’ve been running. = recently finished (we can see the result of the finished action. ie. They are sweating, still wearing their running clothes, shoes, etc.)
I have been studying English since last year!
I haven’t been watching TV or series!
Thanks, teacher! 😃👍
Very good! This is really good, keep studying and it'll become super easy!!!

What is the difference:
"They have been running for 5 hours"
"They ran for 5 hours"
They have been running implies that it isn’t finished. They ran = finished.
