I myself as a longtime guild wars 2 player could talk for hours about the many reasons to play this game

10 year of playing and I still stumble onto dynamic events I've never done before once in a while: literally a living world feeling!
The community is phenomenal. I started two weeks ago and never played anything remotely similar to GW2, so crafting, quests, etc. are all completely new to me. It is also my first mmo and I'm happy to say that countless players have helped me, answered my questions, given me stuff, welcomed me, showed me around, etc.
I like being a part of the community in gw2. I regularly look for new players to help out. I give away about 300-400gp a month to new players, 20 pieces at a time.

I do the same, whenever I meet someone brand new, who showed effort and sociability, I'll sauce them 10 gold and 4 18 slot bags.
I´m normally not someone who stops playing a game just to look at scenery, but Gw2 definitely changed that. I spend hours only looking around core Tyria trying to find my favorite tavern that i would call my "home", before that i didnt even know you could enter most taverns and access a lot of rooms in them.
I've been playing Fashion Wars 2 since its launch and to this day, despite some setbacks, it's still the best on the market. We have to admit that making an entire race have the cult of the perfect body as one of its ideological bases, with 3m "humans" was a genius move, especially for skins.

Glad to find your channel. Switching game modes is my favorite part of yhe game. There is a wide assortment of end game objectives to choose from.
One of my favorite things to do in the game now is helping newer players or just randoms do events, HPs, Jumping Puzzles or different challenges. Simply because I was that noob asking for help earlier this year in map chat and people were so willing to help. It really pays to be kind and enriches the community. It helps that the game has mechanics and systems that actively encourage that. I want to work on getting a commander tag when I learn a bit more about the game just to help newer players with falling in love with GW2 like I did. I played during launch, but it was only really this year that I truly came to embrace Tyria as world I love to be in.
Hey, Evan! I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos about GW2. It is a real pleasure to watch these videos of yours mainly because GW1 and GW2 have been my favourite games of my life.....I have about 5,2k hours on GW2 and about 1,1k hours on GW1 and I am so glad that I have found a channel that talks about Guild Wars universe with so much passion. Thank you for that! Greetings from a player who has over 33k APs and is doing GWaMM in GW1.
A little story: I remember me and my brother going into a gaming shop right before Christmas time in 2008 and he was like: ,,Wow! Look at this! An MMORPG. I think you are going to like this!" And I was like: ,,Hell yeah!" - We ended both playing GW1 Prophecies and me alone sadly GW2 because all of my friends and Guildmates stopped playing......so I am now playing all by myself enjoying the world of Tyria all alone.
One thought that came while watching this that I appreciate, no race barred from professions. There's the different personal story branches too based on char creation options.
and don't forget the Living World that actually changed the world. I can't think of another game that has a story like that.
My aboslute favorite weapon is Hammer for Engineer. Honestly, imo, Catalyst hammer skills should of been more like Engi hammer. Only thing that makes Engi Hammer feel like a none ele weapon is, the lightning is orangish instead of blue/purple. And the 3 skill turns your hammers head into a rocket charged explosive hammer head.
Besides that, the animations and flow of the abilities is just perfect. And now, with new SoTO Wep mastery, I get to use hammer as Core Engi, Holosmith, and Mechanist, not just Scrapper. Although I main Scrapper.
another great video and it's true the community is a great one and in almost every case there's someone willing to help a random person asking for it. and if there is someone being a troll you can block them and never see what they are typing again.

WVW is the true endgame of GW2. But sadly the devs neglected it. You bring all your hard earned BIS Legendary Gear into the battlegrounds to fight other players. Not the same as the Boaring PVE Raiders do who do the same boaring ass stupid mechanics over and over on a Raid boss.

If you fail to see that you can get your GW game chair or with your prime membership a mini dog. It's also linked directly to the TP as the main page. You'd have to click nothing to never run across it.
