In A Mood - 1/11/24

This has been the longest fishing day in a while for me. I wanted to be sure to fish the entire major feed, so that meant sunup to well past 4 pm. The bite was hot and the day flew by. The fish were in a different kind of mood - hitting only one bait and a specific color. I'll bet they're moved up and making beds.

I'm going to have to go to Florida some day. Bass fishing looks great. When I do get a chance to get away I always go North for the smallmouth fishing. But you're making it look easy down there. Thank you for the video.

Yes. I use Sunline 16# flouro leader

@@joannericci5981 My "finessey" baitcaster has 20#, my crankbait / moving bait baitcaster has 30#, and my frog rod baitcaster has #50 no leader.

@@joannericci5981 You definitely want at least 50# for flipping. And a heavy rod with your baitcaster. Gives you power and leverage to pull those fish outta that thick cover.
