I’m consistently impressed with the detail these seemingly simple toys receive. I would totally dismiss these on the shelf, so I appreciate the breakdowns of these. I’d love to see the Star Wars ones!
Yeah, when you actually look closer, you see all the art that went into them. I enjoyed this so much, I have the next box on the schedule in a couple of weeks!

You're a man after my own heart. Loved your famous covers episode and love this one. You've said what I've always said before. Mighty Muggs were always in my humble opinion way better than pops were, are or will ever be for me. Thank-you for this.❤
I still have a Vader mighty mug. His helmet never sits right but he’s special to me. I remember for a time Cartoon Network used mighty mugs as their mascots. I especially remember it cause it’s what they used at the start of Clone Wars and Batman Brave and the Bold and Generator Rex and stuff.
Another line of toys that was so awesome. I had a ton of these and once again, sold them off due to space considerations. I never took them out of the box even though I unpackaged everything else. I really liked the artwork of the face on top of the box. Not sure why that appealed to me so much. Great video.

I remember collecting theses as a kid (24 rn) and loving these and my little sister found my transformers and I started to look for videos of these and was it worth it. I even found NY star wars and Indiana Jones
Had these as well. I thought they were so fun but never really put them on display. Never did pick up the face switch ones, but they do look cool as well. Such a great vid. It would be great to see the other lines as I never did go down that hole.

I remember being going store to store hoping to pick up the new waves for my collection and being excited to find one I didn't have but they were hard to find. These are such phenomenal figures and are leaps and bounds superior over Pops in every single way, but I am sure they were costly to produce. The style and the way they look are all amazing! I am surprised they covered so much ground character wise for a figure line that didn't last long, wish they got to more female characters though. I believe you can take off Phoenix's head and turn it around to be Phoenix instead of the Dark Phoenix face!
@@CarbonScoring If you're into miniatures and something close to and army man scale, then you'll love Metafigs. And they are exactly that. Metal figures. And they have multiple sets spanning from Harry Potter to D&D to Halo, GI Joe, Transformers, and Marvel and DC and probably much more. You could literally have a full on Marvel vs DC standoff with these! Sadly there's no Star Wars sets

It’s funny that we got mr fantastic and the invisible woman in the famous covers line but didn’t get the human torch and the thing but in the mighty muggs line we got ben and johnny but didn’t get sue and reed so it’s inverted in the mighty muggs line
Sorta - it does refer to a ratio, but when talking action figures it usually refers to scale - like from inches to feet - meaning a 6 inch scaled figure is in the 1:6 scale and a 12 inch figure is in 1:12 scale - one inch of plastic for every foot of character
Your on a roll with these videos coming out We definitely need more toybiz 90’s action figures though because my favorite channel ToyShiz has like 40 videos based on them and more than half Spider-Man The Animated Series other than that your my go to channel when I wanna look for some inspiration for posing my action figures

There were Hasbro Mighty Mugs, there are Funko Pops, and then there are Jada Toys Metafigs.
