For a toy line made for preschoolers they really went above and beyond. Great sculping great paint and an awesome character selection given most preschoolers wouldn't know half these characters.

quick note, they didn't retcon Nick Fury to be black, they introduced Nick Fury Junior, the original's secret son, who just happens to look a lot like Samuel L Jackson, who was also the obvious inspiration for Ultimate Nick Fury, who gave SLJ the chance to play Fury in the MCU
I honestly thought this episode would be a bit of a dud from the title, but these things are great! It just goes to show that if you put love, attention to detail, and stay true to the source material in a figure line, it doesn't have to be super-articulated to be awesome. I was also dumbfounded there was no Spidey until the end😂

Out of all the Giant Mans they could've given us they decided to give us the Ultimate comics Giant Man. Instead of giving us 616 Giant Man, or even Goliath they gave us the Giant Man that hospitalized Wasp, got beaten up by Captain America, and betrayed the Ultimate's. Yes I'm upset about that and still am. Sure the 616 version did abuse Wasp but that was when he was in his Yellowjacket persona where his Pym Particles were altering his mind. Sure the 616 version betrayed the Avengers, stole some Adamantium, imprisoned and joined The Masters of Evil but that was because Egghead blackmailed him and framed him forcing him to join them.
Used to have a ton of these. Sold them all as a lot (except the female figures) and regret it to this day. I tend to end up on Ebay after watching your videos. 🙂

@@CarbonScoring your right I still own Legos for Marvel and Dc and a few others but I have them in a bin since I moved to a new house and I own lots of figures and I’m think what figures I want for my new displays once I get the shelf’s ready or my grandpa helps me with it.
By the way, that line ran till 2013, when iron man 3 came out, and even then those last two packs were repaints, but i like to imagine what figures we could have gotten if it still existed today with the MCU, imagine a Super Hero Squad version of the new kang or the MCU Thanos.
Just a correction. The two nick fury’s are completely different characters in the 616 universe and most of its adaptations. one is Nick Fury Sr and the other is Nick Fury Jr

This video is awesome and pretty nostalgic cuz I'm pretty sure my first Spider-Man figure was a Squatty or those little Playmates figures that had a little more articulation I don't know why but it didn't have any webs it was my older brothers and I took it from him my memory was playing I feel like a monster on TH-cam that was an Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon edit and I was playing with the figure this makes me want to buy some of these guys on eBay they're really cool my little cousin actually had a Silver Surfer and I asked her for it and she gave it to me and I put it on a little bendy wire and I put a thumbtack in my ceiling and I got some tinfoil and now it looks like Silver Surfers flying through my room she had some other old ones like Robin and Batman and the Hulk they were really cool I also just remembered I have a red skull 32:13

This show is part of having one of the most unique but still great theme songs. For me its up there with Spectacular Spider-Man

I used to have Crimson Dynamo, Titanium Man, War Machine and the classic flying Iron Man. And yes, that’s the Hulkbuster from World War Hulk.
