Great painting. Great video. I don't see many paintings showing downstream. I usually paint looking up at a waterfall. My next few painting will be looking down river. Thank you for all your help.
This one has to be my new favorite Sam, the way you communicated the soft glow coming through the trees produces a truly stunning result. Equally amazing was the use of Blue Ridge, seeing hand made oils make it all the way to New Zealand and put to such masterful use gives me hope I can find Langridge Oils here in Vermont.
Wow. Your art is just beautiful and I 100% want to learn from you so will be looking at your website and Patreon. Thanks for the video 👌 At the moment, I use gouache (and love it) but not very good at landscapes yet… might try oil paint after watching your video…
Thanks Dave. With regards to framing panels, what I usually do is buy pre-made frames from my local framers and i get them made to standard sizes eg 8" x 10". I have a point gun which is like a staple gun but for framing, so it's easy for me to frame my small paintings myself. I often get the framers to make frames from off-cuts which saves money 😊
@@SamuelEarpArtist Thanks Sam, I’ve been making my own. Thought you may have a better method than I. Can’t afford paying a framer. Thanks for your fast reply, much appreciated.😎🇦🇺🦘
Thank you. Yes I am using mostly bristle flat brushes. I use Rosemary and Co brushes from their 'Classic' range. I have put a link to their website in the description box below 😊

You mentioned framing panels
Could you tell me your framing method. ( you said it was easy) 😀🇦🇺🦘

You use which type of linen canvas 🤔
This is a medium weave linen canvas that is oil primed 😊
I paint on Coke boxes 📦 and minute rice boxes ..is a good size for art .
do you have three , four sun ?
