And all along I kept telling myself "Damn, this is truly amazing". And now leaving full screen mode I just noticed it was in 2017... omg! 😂 This guy is truly exceptionnal. I deeply love him. I'm portuguese and yet there is no doubt whether Ronaldo or Messi is the greatest. To be honest, if Ronaldo didn't change his style after he leaves Man U, it would've been a tough matter ; he used to be such an alien back to Man U days (dribbling, running, scoring and stuff) but he ended up being just an exceptionnal goalscorer, leaving aside all his magic. What a shame! Still, what he's doing at his age is unbelievable, no doubt he's gonna be Serie A top scorer this season. I just watched "Ronaldo top 10 performances at Man U" because my memory kinda fades, and I enjoy watching this legend play, even though today he misses a lot a lot a lot, but Messi will be remembered as the greatest of all time (only if he continues being this good, breaking records and lifting trophies). The way I measure how good a player is by how much he improves from his youth to his prime i.e 23-30 yrs. Ronaldo has actually regressed as a player when you look at his overall contribution to a match. Back when he was at united he actually tracked back and contributed defensively which made him a very important part of that champions league winning team. Then he started focusing on goal scoring and he did it so much now that if you suffocated the midfield and cut out the supply line, ronaldo's only contributions would be a gazillion aimless shots from all sorts of angles and unnecessary no look passes to players who are 2 feet away and are not under any pressure. Messi on the other hand improved his game. He's a much more complete player now than what he was at 24. He improved his free kicks and worked on cutting out the unnecessary runs. He looks to combine more and more often than not finds that perfect ball that most of us can't manage even on FIFA18. At 24 he was compared to pele and maradona and he's only improved. So who is the best in the world??
