I've the Mamiya Press version of this. Managed to find a compatible cartridge for not-insane money. Took it to a local anime con and photographed a few people - then handed them the picture. Even decade-old FP-100C worked perfectly and looked incredible. People used to the instagram were fascinated.
Amazing as always. This channel is the PBS documentary series about Polaroids we never knew we needed. Fyi the videos look amazing on a big screen TV. Happy Holidays!

Unfortunately don’t know of any external self timers for the 300, remote triggers and timers are not made for Instax cameras but perhaps someone could 3D print one that mechanically presses the shutter or something - stranger things have been made, who knows!! Great video, lovely energy. Great content, couple quick notes. The CB-70 is powered by the film battery. There is a power port but it isn’t connected by default. So no using I-Type. Using CB-70 requires chopping out some internal ribbing or you lose part of frame. Backwards & mirrored issue only affects Polaroid integral film, all others come out fine. Sadly, Instax Wide backs cost more than camera body. Should mention the dual tripod and cold shoe mounts. Great video.
Also, when you shoot Instax or Polaroid in the wrong orientation and you want to just play something with words on it, just set up your display with a mirror in it. Some people see the stuff through the mirror.
Insane that they didn’t make more of those, the aftermarket is bananas. HOWEVER, the new 4x5 Instax Wide back they are producing (which of course I pre-ordered) should work perfectly on the 600SE with the graflok adapter. So that’s great news!
I do miss the peel apart film, this has been a favorite of mine since I got one in the 90s ...I have used it with pack film, a 120 roll holder and I have a low-tech polaroid back that lets me use I type film ... hard to use, but fun!!!
Its big, its heavy, its wierd and you get "looks" (especially when its painted hot-pink and neon-green) but it is the abselut best medium format camera i have, just LOVE every daym bit of it, and the 75mm with finder just makes it even better (wierder looking) so yeah, idc if its 135(panoramic) 120, integral or the beloved peal apart, a goose is the ultimate camera in my oppinion (ohh and dont forget the V-mount adapter i made so i can use a digital back for it too, needs a bit more polishing to get the focal plane just right, but as it is now, it already works wonders!)
I got the Mamiya Press, because I have the TLR, and the RB. I need a Fuji Instax back for my Press. Also use the ground glass on the press with the extensions for those macro shots.
I absolutely wish Polaroid would add an aperture and shutter settings. I think polaroid film could capture some awesome long exposures and be super experimental if that small change was made
Hey mate! Polaroid has integrated manual shutter speed and aperture settings into the OneStep+ and the Impossible I-1. You have to use the app connectivity, but it works extremely well.
Loving the goose jingle! If you can find a 75mm with its external viewfinder, I really recommend it. At first I had a Goose with the standard lens but then I found a great deal with ALL 3 LENSES! I just had to find a viewfinder for the 75 and now I'm all set. Had to sell one of the Geese recently though. But as you say: it takes time and effort to use this camera. Also I really don't like the shutter button, I'm always placing the camera on a tripod and using a cable shutter. Oh and uuuh... I do flip my photos in post before sharing them online :P

With packfilm prices where they're at, and supply continuing to dwindle, this camera's future is with integral backs. That is, unless Supersense shapes into a consumer-grade film some day, in which case The Goose is a top pick!

Real nice set :) there's an instax wide back for this Goose, frame is not upside down, not reversed, full frame I think. Just some adjustment on viewfinder. The pola back sits better imo on a rb67, with an instax square back as little brother! Also: get yourself a chinese mini light meter that sits on the hotshoe, changes your life!

The Mamiya Press Universal (MUP) used to be the cheaper buy rather than the 600se. Many more lenses, cheaper backs, removable grip(which I think is still key). What’s funny is there seems to be a flip on prices now and the Press Universal is now more money than the Goose. Because I think it’s a more versatile camera with a better build. Either way these cameras take incredibly sharp images on any instant format.

The 600SE also makes a good weapon when you're being pestered by that passing motorist or pedestrian who's on roid rage and wants to smack your head in. One good clock in the head with the SE and they're down for the count!! Camera's fine, it's built like Big Arnie :) Alternatively, use your tripod :)
Using something like the LomoGraflok back would be a form to utilize Instax Wide on a large format camera. Otherwise, the last large true large format instant film is Polaroid 8x10.
It's annoying that they changed the lens and back mount between the 600SE body and the Mamiya Press body... Any thoughts on how difficult it'd be to adapt backs/lenses between the two systems? I know Mamiya Press bodies have a way bigger selection of lenses
Yeah, the issue is the change in focal plane between the back and the lens. The LomoGraflok juts outward which makes the rangefinder unusable. It is easy to adapt it onto the camera with a graflok adapter, but the focusing is the problem!

It's really not difficult! Using the centerpoint as a guideline, you can get a good grasp on framing rather quickly.

Hey dude! Prob not since it can't shoot any currently available film that isn't insanely expensive besides Supersense. I reviewed The Goose because it's modular and can also shoot integral.
You are an awesome presenter, I literally laughed out loud. I’m trying to find a good place to buy one of these, is there anybody trusted selling these already set up with the 600 backs? Or do I just need to find one on eBay and find a 3d printed back?
