Matt, you can get a CB70 back and shoot regular polaroid film on your 600SE, or get the "Mamiya Press roll film holder adapter" (kind of hard to find) and shoot 120 film on it with the mamiya press backs. You can also just sell it, and get a Mamiya Universal or any other press model. they have a much larger selection of lenses including the 100mm f2.8, one of my favorite MF lenses ever
Still have some old polaroid cameras I got passed down from relatives. Pretty sure they all have issues but this makes me want to look i to them more! Love those grungy flash polaroids
My dude’s got a GoPro on The Goose!! Absolute god mode eye in the sky. The Goose I think is one of the greatest cameras ever produced, modularity for a lifetime of formats. Great stuff man. Also, BFC love - lesgo!!
I love that camera so much. I've had mine since FP3000B was $8 a pack. I can't bring myself to shoot the last of it. Thank goodness for Supersense. So much fun to stick some Instax Wide in there too. Beautiful lens and a fun camera to use. With no real effort beside a dark bag, you can stuff instax in there in an old peel apart holder. Then just run it through the instax rollers in the dark (or lens covered). No real mod needed. Keep it in use.
Oooh, I’ve never thought about that but that’s a great tip. Instax is so affordable compared to Polaroid, it would be fun to use if nothing more than a family camera.
I just shot my last pack of fp-3000b and it really made me remember how much i loved it and wish i bought more before its end. I still have a fridge of 669 that i have to shoot but really lust after the black and white. Just happy to keep feeding my polaroid 195
I have the Instax Wide 300 which I thought would be cool but I HATE the lack of control. It's so frustrating to use, especially to focus or well lack of focus. I know there are some other cameras out there that use the same Instax Wide film and have manual controls but they seem overly expensive with too many quirks and bad QA. I wish Fujifilm would come out with an updated version of the Instax Wide 500AF. Such a neat camera but its old enough now and apparently wasn't built to last so they are pretty fragile nowadays. Its a bummer. I like the Idea of Instant film and its way cheaper than regular film but the waste is something I have a hard time justifying. So it's something I only use once in awhile. Great video Matt!
Thanks for watching! I’m with you on the 300. If it’s all you’ve got, better than nothing… but I definitely prefer something with a little more control.
@@mattdayphoto Forgive me if you already made a video, but it would be pretty interesting if you could make a video on the best way to scan instant film haha.
Best camera in my place. I have got the 600 (not SE) with the 127mm. It's awesome! I have just shot a few family photos with the last FP 100 Silk I had in my fridge. Now I only have a couple of Polaroid 664 and two Fuji FP 3000 b/w packs. I have tried a few times in the past to get a negative from these films (then to be scanned) but with poor results. Do you maybe have any tips/tutorials/suggestions? That would be great! I am thinking at looking at a medium format film roll back to keep using the camera, since apparently not many other real options are there for peel apart or instant films...Thanks for the great video!
My dad has one of these and it's his favorite camera but he says the instant pack film isn't made anywhere anymore. Is this true? Is there any other alternative for the instant film? I'd like to buy him some since i know he loves that camera so much. He does have the Mamiya 120 back for shooting 120 rolls but he really jams with the instant back.
Love this stuff, I still have plenty of it, I think I'll be using it with my polaroid print copier though because it's just too expensive to take photos that I might not be excited about. I'm still waiting for my Newland camera converter for my Polaroid 195. Once I get it it'll be up and running with some black & white I-Type film.
Ah, that sounds awesome. Always wanted the 195 years ago when I was shooting pack film regularly! The 250, 180, and 600SE were the three I used the most over the years.
I still have my goose from the 80s, I think it still works great, but… I really loved the positive/negative Polaroid film, because the resolving power was very similar to 4 x 5 when printing the negative. But without that film . . Not much better than an Instax
Im confused. The polaroid camera i have says its a 600SE LMS with no light to indicate whether or not the flash is functioning. It says its an SE but doesnt look like one. It looks like a regular LMS. I cannot find my exact camera online anywhere. Its starting to irk me a little bit ngl.
If you decide you wanna sell it, I'd be interested in maybe buying it. I have one, but I'd love to have a second. For dual shoot episodes (@jpegists), for backup against failures, etc. No pressure/hard sell tho. If you love it and keep it, great! If you want it to find a good next home, I'm here for it.

❤️🥹 my dude. Genuinely so excited to see you and the whole crew there.

I‘m excited that I could purchase one of your instant photos. Thanks, Matt. Greetings from Germany

There's also the option of converting a Polaroid Pathfinder to take Instax wide. It's custom but still comes in at half the cost of the Mint RF70.

I miss pack film so much! Loved shooting on my Polaroid Land 100
Used to spend all day shooting this stuff, so good. And the cameras are super fun!

I have the Mamiya Universal Press and 6 packs of pull apart film in the fridge. I'm to scared to use it.
Maybe you should get the roll-film back for the camera and shoot 6x9. Ebay is your friend (sometimes).

Awesome stuff, great content!
cool vid Matt, thanks for posting!
I got a 600 back for mine!
Link to the duster?
Dude, nice Yeah Right hat! Where did you get it?
That camera look so cool!
Maybe fix the lens and modify the camera to shoot Fuji Instax Wide with a Lomograflok? I don’t know if that is actually possible.
Yep, there are 600se-to-instax kits available from LoFi DIY
Might look into it!
Damn, that film really is something else. I never got to shoot it myself, and I really wish I had. Great video!
Thanks dude.
I wiiiisssh I got into film earlier than I did, just so I could have used fresh packfilm!

That’s a process I would have loved to try at the time if I had the proper parts/cameras.
Why not replace the 127 or get it CLA'ed. Much cheaper than anything with the L word on.
Can we talk about the jean jacket for a sec? Kthanks.
A jacket from Obey that a friend gifted me! It’s big and comfy. 🫶
Sell it
