Nope! It’s a classic technique that’s been used for a long time! Not cheating, just a different way to do the same thing (and typically makes the work look more polished as well, especially with small sections of changing color or changing color often in the same row)
@@kendradieleman1583 Thank you! I tried to do it on a tiny sweater I made for a little stuffed frog, but it was a mess. I thought it would be something I was good at because I embroider, but nope! Haha! The skills definitely didn't translate for me. I've seen it done well, and it's clear it's a "true" technique and not "cheating." It's so beautiful when done well!
