Really enjoy your podcasts and the knowledge you share answering questions. I started my 1st brioche project back in June 2021, the Sojourner shawl by Xandy Peters. I know, what was I thinking? I even used two strands of lace weight held together for each color 😞. Wow what a novice move. However I interrupted this project to knit a Christmas present, another brioche project except this time a simple cowl for my daughter, which is where I used your Brioche End Weaving technique. Great technique, but it really didn't hide the yarn as nicely as I liked for a 2 color brioche project. Now, after spending a great deal of time - lost count on how many hours of knitting & frogging took place but I finally finished the shawl so didn't want the possibility of woven ends showing or popping out. For this shawl, I used your duplicate stitch technique after blocking of course and it worked like a charm. However, for 2 color brioche - duplicate stitch weaving needs an added instruction to weave the yarn under the second color on the back to be sure the second color pattern is not interrupted. The shawl looks wonderful. Thanks again for your thoughtful sharing.

This has changed my life! I no longer dread weaving in ends, and it doesn’t take forever anymore!

Just what I needed! I like the fact that you showed how to weave in ends on both sides. I’m going to do this right now on the sweater I’m working on. I I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you so much!

I've knitted for years and always struggled weaving ends. I love the way you explained it!

Thank you so very much for this lesson! I was taught just to "weave" through the ends in the back of the work - any old way. I MUCH prefer this methodical, blended method - it's the neat-freak in me!

Ahhh! This is so helpful! My ends are always hideous and now I understand why they always fell out. I'll definitely try this approach when I finish my next project!

Thanks Andrea, this is much more systematic than what I've been doing, lol.
And although my ends also seemed to stay put, this looks a lot neater. Thanks for showing!

This is one way to do the ends but depending on yarn & garment it might pop out, be too thick, or other deleterious effects. I prefer other methods which don't pop out, and of course ends in seams or behind cables/ribbing is better than interrupting a wide open space of st st or rev st st.

I know this question is not on the correct tutorial but this one is closer to todays date. The one it goes to is a few years old and I don't know if you still read the comments on the really old tutorials. So my question using the ladder stitch on the stockinette piece both sides have a kind of v rows as you go up the sides you are trying to finish off the sides. I have been working regular stockinette stitch, reverse stockinette stitch, and garter stitch all on the same sweater. Please help me so i can finish this sweater and get it sent off in time for her birthday. Thank you in advance.

How do you weave ends with loose knitting. I am finshing the bottom if a tank top with size 13 needles. The body is what the yarn requires size 10 1/2. It is coming great and is done in the round garter stitch. With the fabric being very open how do I weave in the ends? Thanks for your help
