Ciryl Gane is (was) not the best HW in the division. He lost to the best (Francis) and it was only until AFTER Francis left that Jon returned. After Francis, the Tom Aspinall IS the best HW in the division. Jon discredits Aspinall for not having marquis opponents and legends on his resume, but the two legends in the division (Miocic and JBJ) don’t want to fight him. If Tom defeats Blades, it cements the fact he’s the true champ at HW. Aspinall has done far more at HW than Jon has. It’s not even close.
