I will caution though. As a retired tour guide of a Canadian persuasion, I have conducted many tours beginning in Vancouver, BC. These same tours ended in Seattle, WA. During our three days together, all of my tour members being American citizens of the Greatest Generation, were, time and again, very sensitive to any historical evidence that the USA had behaved badly. I expected this reaction always. A common reaction caused by a lack of education and a natural desire to defend their nation’s reputation. Folks in the 21st Century need to separate themselves from the events of the 19th Century in order to maintain the greater relationship between the British Canadians and the British Americans of the 21st Century.⁉️🤔😁
