Okay, I don't want to over do it here but dang Yakima Knute was such a presence in my early days. This episode showed up again and I watched it. I think the first thing I wanted to be as a kid was a cowboy. Oh those great days in the late 1950s when we only had 2 or 3 black and white TV channels, and my brother and I loved to watch those old Western Movies on a Saturday morning before Mom & Dad got up. Great memories and wonderful tales that inspired a boy's life before his teens.
Great special Knute! Yakima was a childhood hero of mine. Family friend connections, I never met him. But the stories of legend were told to me as a kid.

I love the Colfax landscape. great framing.
Very interesting. I've noticed that very few cowboy actors were real cowboys that herded cattle.
If you keep an eye on the credits his name turns up in numerous movies
