@@michaelestrada1972 this race means a lot for ryosuke and hojo, it was about triangle love and the girl was decided to suicide cause her father was forced her to marry the richest kid of company a.k.a hojo rin. at those time, ryosuke isn't graduated yet from his schools. the dress code of ryosuke explained about it, that uniform looks like the beginning of his journey being a doctor.
This song is beautiful. After listening for more than a decade I just gotta say Theres such a soul to this genre it kills me that they took it out of legend it really is one of the core elements that make Initial D what it is.
It definitely takes an open ear. Anytime I play eurobeat around other people (accidentally or otherwise lol) I do see how it might come off as silly or repetitive. But the irony is, how many different Melodies have been used or even discovered in the genre. And even if some would maybe find the vibe kind of silly, so many songs are just front to back lyrics of pain and passion and love and desire. In a very off-kilter way, some eurobeat has an emotional depth unlike anything I’ve ever heard.
@@ClankyOtter Absolutely I get that, To me theres alot of variation in eurobeat, like Nuage-crazy little love in contrast to Norma Sheffield- techniques of love. I get alot of people wont understand it, im one of those people who gets alot of emotion out of a song by just beats alone, Eurobeat is deff. a more personal genre to me something i can just blast on the streets or a nice back road and forget about everything, it can also just put me in that zone to get stuff done. I listen to alot of J core and UK hardcore as well, but im lucky to have some like minded friends that also listen to eurobeat so ill occasionally spend some freetime here and there making them mixes and what not. Theres a part of me that likes that its more underground but another side of me that wishes everyone could discover this music and enjoy it the same way i do.
Best amv I have ever seen and also the 350z in my view, that seems like he’s some sort of a character just appearing outta nowhere to help Ryousuke slowing down Hojo’s R32. I love the way you makes that 350z(I forgot the character’s name) as a mysterious character. Keep it up man

to be completely honest, i much prefer this battle to the final battle between takumi and that random kid who we hadn't heard anything about until the fifth stage...
I mean The point of that battle is that that kid "is" Takumi. The downhill specialist, unbeatabble in his area, that no one never heard about. The same way even Ryosuke "couldn't beat" Takumi in Akina's Dowwhill, beating this child in his game would be an absolute hard time. So Takumi "beating himself in the past" shows how much he evolved from stage 1 to 5. For me, there shouldn't be no better oponent to Takumi than Shinji. This, on the other hand, was one of the best races of the Anime by the true relation between the characters, revealing more about the past of Ryosuke, and putting a relation to Keisuke battle at the same time ( Takahash Brothers and Hojo Brothers )

There's only one way to beat yourself: You must go higher and more capable of, beyond your limits, in Takumi's case, it meant on Blowing up his AE86's new Engine. If Takumi lose on that Race, it will show that all of the Progress that Project D was just a waste and in vain.
lmao say they have a prequel of initial d revolving around Keisuke. It will end when he is driving one day and sees a AE86 smoke him, then they will official race and he will get smoked by some random kid who nobody would of known about.

I’m an amazing driver.... I just need gain weight. I’ll do it for both of us... it’s just so hard sometimes.... I gave up driving for so long I couldn’t even remember how to drive..... when I think back to that morning I drifted the Honda Civic. I almost wanna cry... it was the closest I ever felt to myself.... I was born to drive....... I will Fly. Or Die Trying.
