Hammamy is so effective. Even though I love sherbinis all round game, Hammamy seems to have a blend of gohars intensity AND sherbinis court craft. Brilliant for squash!! 👍
At 8-5 after the return of serve Sherbini runs straight at Hammamy before seeing where the ball is going as her default strategy. Hammamy hits it tight along the wall, so Sherbini has to adjust realizing she doesn’t have a case to make. Too bad it wasn’t a strong passing shot to the back of the court exposing Sherbini’s ploy.
@@emublake I can't deal with the "how does he dooo it" and the boring drivel they do that has nothing to do with the game or anything. And the nicknames... The nicknames are not only utter shite, but they make the sport too in house, which makes it harder for newcomers to jump in and understand what's going on. "The warrior princess" is my absolute least favourite. Just feels wrong.
The 2 main nonsensical commentators seem to forget that they are broadcasting to a global audience, so what they think are funny pronunciations to them, just adds confusion to the many non- English speaking viewers enjoyment of the game.
Hammamy gosh lol I came to see her feistNess.. Her passion is soo entertaining.... I remember when she played Perry and she bumped into Perry and fell sat with her back to the side wall... she screamed at Perry, with a hard ster and slapped her hands to the floor.... It was soo gripping her reaction... it reminded me of rich spoilt kids when they throw a tantrum... it was the tournament before this one i think where she lost to Perry
Wow. I thought the inconclusive was harsh. It looked like a bounce off the floor, then off the wall, then she hit it. But... what do I know? I'm a complete newbie. 😄🤣 hahaha
So many Strokes! But happy with this call th-cam.com/video/z3i2iZXZ2PQ/w-d-xo.html so often I see in our local competition that is given as a stroke when it shouldn't have! However, she is lucky, if you're going for the player and not the ball the call should be "No Let"
Me thinks you have never played squash before. That shot was not intentional and she got away with a lucky winner. Like if in tennis you skim the top of the net and the ball drops over the net; certainly you never intended to hit a winner like that and you have accidently taken away a fair rally from your opponent; hence an apology is the respectful reaction to your opponent.
Nour el sherbini played dirty as usual. She cheated by asking for let/stroke when she can't take the ball. That's not a true contender. Hania is true competitor. Sherbini doesnt deserve to win even if the game is sided to her. I really hope referee can pay more attention in the future when sherbini played a competitive player like hania.

Imagine the levels of animation if Hammamy player Abdel. Superb players and athletes by the way.
Hammamy: my new favourite player on tour.

We need more variety in the commentary box. I think as a sport we have 5 people, 2 of whom I leave the sound on for.
Jonathan Wright PJ and Johnny Williams
Every time a winner is described as a "joke" I have to turn the sound down.

@@waynewilliams3246 it's really rough. I can't listen to Joey Barrington when he's on the call. I physically squirm every sentence.
I'm fairly sure that ball was out. In slow motion it looks like it bounced out of the corner.
Slow mo video..how can incloncusive 😪

No you're wrong, the player you're speaking about is Rowan Elaraby.
@@aliasalias9411 yeah, i was about to say that its actually Rowan Elaraby who did that not Hammamy.
Inconclusive? Clearly a double bounce.
I'm baffled by how the video ref couldn't see it. To me it obviously looked like a double. When it hit the second time wasn't it nicking out?
@@lbeyak I'm even more baffled that Duncalf thought it wasn't a double

4:32 why did she have to apologize? it's all in fair game isn't it?
West it was unexpected

Hammamy: feisty, skilled and gorgeous at the same time.
And super annoying
우리의 서빈희의 우승을 뺏아간 판정이 두개씩이나? 1대0 상황의 투바운드와 10대 9 상황에서 yes let 은 확실한 미스판정임
The screaming,,STOP,, STOP ITTTTT
2nd
This kind of behaviour should be stopped immediately
What kind of behaviour?
inghell awful screaming
Yeah, how dare she be passionate about her sport.
Noone complains about Gaultier, Coll or Marwan when they scream. Why's it different for her?
Jonathan Wright because she screams much louder and more often.
I personally don't see a problem with her screaming. She's passionate and wants to win. Why is it so bad for people that she screams so much?
hammamys screams are very annoying!

Why in the hell she kept on screaaaaming like that its not fair to win like that 👎
Why's psa encourage that behavior?
TheHilarious91 ikr
Not a very good game. Both players moving slowly off the ball and a lot of video referees and strokes.
Hammamy is so annoying. She plays good but she has to stop effing yelling.
