I bought this unit and remember the Hype back in the 80's of the awesome Roland TR 808.. So this video (as mentioned below in comments) has a very limited value. Maybe try again with a better explanation of what was mentioned below. These video's are helpful to a point and the manual that comes with it is a wash since it's so hard to read.. I would really like a video that helps integrate , connecting this to say my Roland 202 and a keyboard and synth..😵💫
My tr08 goes through all the patterns when i click play. does anyone know how to fix this? i cant make a pattern or even use it for patterns because the drums change every 16th beat.
The instruction manuals are pretty poor as well. You really have to persevere with them. I discover new things about the machines a lot of the time by accident.
He’s making some great little sounds with that machine, but I need the eyes of a Falcon to see what buttons he’s pressing. Definitely not helpful to say “…Im gonna connect up the SE02…blah blah” without even saying what ports is connected to what. The whole thing was just a man playing about on a great little machine bit without any useful and replicable information. A really useless and frustrating video to get a feel for the capability or to learn anything from if you’re a new owner.

I'm wondering if they made these machines intentionally confusing. They are great though once you figure them out a little.
