Great idea! Unfortunately I couldn’t fide one in the place I live but also had such idea. Would be awesome if you could share how your works and looks like👍🏾😌
@scottallen2190 you can upload your video To google drive and send me link to bogdanpelican@gmail.com Right now I am collecting videos with CatchAll’s from different users, to make a compilation!
Thank you so much for making this tutorial! I followed along and now I have my own that I’m excited to experiment with. Thanks again for sharing your idea!
Very happy to hear that!😊 hope you enjoy it! Please, share your thoughts and ideas after some time, will be happy to build a community where everyone can take a part in creating and upgrading THE ULTIMATE CATCHALL😅😊 Also you can send me your video and I will gladly post it if you don’t mind!😉
Hello! Just found your channel and the cheap, everyday material used in making a CatchAll instantly drew me in. Only one hangup, though. I found it kind of awkward to write on them, especially on the go and on even number pages (I mean the ones without support from the rest of the sheets). Is it just me or did you also have to get used to it? 😂
Hello! Ahaha yes, I was looking on how to fix that problem! Indeed, bulldog clip does not help to feel comfortable while writing on the go😅 but I have experimented a lot with thickness of the CatchAll and from my experience - you should try different amounts of pages😉 Also smaller clip can help! I have used 15mm clip and do not recommend using bigger than that. Anyway, after few pages this problem resolves itself 😌 also if you have any info which you would like to save in your CatchAll - you should also try to keep that at the beginning on the notebook. Let me know if you will find a better solution!😅 also would be cool if you could record a small video about your CatchAll so I could share with others on my channel if you don’t mind:)
I like how quickly you got to the "How To" video - no waiting for video number 52 lol in one of my earlier comments I think I said packing tape might be better but this large scotch tape is way larger than I expected I was worried when you put the tape on the desk but I guess that's real wood and not just paper that looks like wood haha if someone wants to add something after the lamination process would they simply cut a small piece of paper and place it down with another piece of tape attaching it to the rest of the cover? or maybe it would be better to simply start over with a new cover? idk why I was surprised by the corners of tape needing to be removed I like how you made sure to fold the back cover before the front cover in case someone got excited and did both the same way
@@thepostgradyear haha thanks😅 Yes, not doing this for views, just someone asked in comments to make such video so I did:) No, no need to start from the beginning! You can use stickers like the ones they use in shops if you want to label the book later, for example if you decided to use this particular cover for poetry, or cooking recipes etc. or just use a bit of paper with scotch tape as you suggested! The benefit of this is that you can easily remove the sticker afterwards (I have also tested this)
@@I_wrote_it_down I guess it could also be fun to simply keep slapping them on top of each other although that might make it hard to fit in a pocket hmm
I’m a full blown Notebook fan but I maybe tempted to knock one of these up and have a play with the Idea :)
I like to use a manila folder as a cover. They already have a crease in them for the spine. Just cut to size and they come in many colors.

@@I_wrote_it_down Would love to. How do I message you?

Really great video, your instructions are really nice and clear, and the notebook system is really clever! I'll have to give this a try!
Thank you!
