- Brandon Semenuk is back! This time, he reimagines the true essence of Slopestyle MTB by designing four unique features in hopes of advancing and promoting creativity in the sport, and allowing riders to bring their own creative riding styles to the table. 🛠 .
In preparation for the Red Bull Joyride 10-year anniversary, fans can now vote for their favourite feature and the one with the most votes will be included in the slopestyle course at Red Bull Joyride 2022! 👇

From Brandon Semenuk’s jaw-dropping corked 720 in 2014, to Emil Johansson’s double truck driver down whip in 2019, Red Bull Joyride has consistently set the stage for the evolution of slopestyle mountain biking. But as the tricks have gotten gnarlier, and the courses and features become consistently built to boost riders faster, higher, and farther, an element of course creativity has been often overlooked.
“Introducing features that allow riders to really express their personal creativity on a bike can really help shake up the people we see on the podium on a week-to-week basis,” explained Wyper, who believes this creative build approach will inject more excitement into the sport.
"Without the confines of a contest environment, Justin Wyper and myself had the opportunity to create our own Slopestyle haven and take some chances with this course build. Like any mountain bike trail or course, you work with the given terrain to make the best features imaginable. In this situation, we knew we wanted to create a course that would ride well top to bottom, but also offer up some opportunities for creativity along the way. We took our knowledge from previous builds and integrated some 'wildcard' features with some more common slopestyle features to hopefully have a good balance of both." - Brandon Semenuk
Fans now have the chance to vote for their favourite, and the championed feature will be reintroduced at the 2022 Red Bull Joyride event.

It takes innovators and visionaries, those who help to hone crafts and build up the next generation of greats to be able to enjoy amazing, showstopping riders like Brandon in MTB, BMX, Skate and other sports, and for the massive contribution everyone at Woodward has made and continues to make to the action sports world, thank you. I hope i can afford to send my son to camp at Woodward in a couple of years, so he can benefit from so much passion, talent and dozens of top of the line facilities like ive always dreamed of doing growing up. Congrats on the new park section Town Centre opening. Another park that exceeds the most amazing dreams ive ever had.

Some comps should focus on technical ability on a bike, instead of massive jumps and tricks, that would create some diversity in the tournaments that occur.
My favourite has to be tail whip to manual to nollie bar out, this must of taken so long to make, its so Cool and looks soooo smooth! Epic work red bull keep it up
Mine was the superman seat grab and the no hand no foot trick I don't know the name of. Those kind of tricks always makes me happy because I always think of how good you make them look Sam.

Brandon is constantly pushing the boundaries of what we thought Slopestyle mountain biking is. Every time I see a new part from this man he astounds me. His grace and effortless demeanor when doing such technical tricks like his 360 Can Can is really captivating.

The biking skills here are unequivocally breathtaking, but vids like this are also celebrations of creativity and film-making. If I end up entering the teaching profession, I am going to find a way to show vids like this in class! There's got to be a reason to watch this guy in English class, right? lol
The editing was frustrating, chop to next angle, next angle, next angle nothing flowed you have flowing slopestyle/trails you want to see them flowing through the whole line not just chop around 10 angles of one jump then the next... The cinematography itself is spot on and the building of the trails are amazing peices of art which need to be showcased further like older videos where your flowing through the line with the rider, doesnt need crazy tricks on each jump/feature could have made this edit alot cleaner and really showcased more of how epic it really is.
Incredible Riding!!! So grateful for these edits! I love how Brandon is still pushing the edge of the sport. It's also dope to see Justin Wyper, I remember him from soooo long ago, he did some crazy moves in this edit, props Justin!!
Pretty sad that these sites get built for one shoot, when there are whole towns that can't get some decent singletrack put in. Sick video though

This was incredible! Love it love it love it. Brandon makes it looks so chill, such smooth landings and transitions. A million thanks to Rupert for a wonderful filming and to the whole crew who make this video happen! It wouldn’t have been here if it wasn’t for each one of you. And another thing I want to highlight is the music. Many riders choose some more aggressive music, which probably aims to make the video look cooler but at the same time it becomes just as important as the rider himself. In Brandon’s videos on the contrary they use either such an unobtrusive, often instrumental music (or then make it raw), that it doesn’t compete with the rider, it’s always in the background, letting you enjoy the visual experience in the first place. However it plays at the same time an enormous role to bring us at ease and relax while watching Brandon do his thing. Masterpiece! Keep on doing the same quality videos 🌲🌲🪵🪨
Hes gotten more creative with the lines but not the usual style of ridong weve seen from him hes riding kind of an aged styling now i like it as covid disapears im excited to see what he comes up with and does next not because itll be big and amazing but because he has this smoothness about his riding now that seems less forced then before.

I really do not like edits like this. You've got one of the best riders on the planet doing incredible tricks on an innovative course and all the fancy camera edits and cuts only distract from the riding.
