Ngl the whole “it’s not the bike it’s the rider” thing is pretty in accurate. Go on a downhill track and do a race run on a downhill bike and a cross country bike and see the difference. Go do a couple laps on an xc course with a top of the line xc bike and then try it on an aluminum entry level bike and you will find that the bike makes up a lot more than 1%.
Freaking Gear eh I would say 60% rider, 40% bike. No matter what a Walmart bike is never going to outperform a 8000$ dh bike.

How is not bike's fault? First drop and he bend the tire. I mean, this is a video yeah, but a lot of people only have 1 bike and can't afford to always replace new bike components. I identify myself with this, I love the sport but I have a crappy bike, I still practice the sport, but is not as easy as you're putting it saying that.

Skill Is Everything. Well I just got into DH biking but with a hardtail Specialized Pitch 650b which has 100mm Fork travel. I always make complains that I wish I could have a £5000 DH Bike, but when watching this video makes me practice more and ride the bike to it's limits while gaining exprience.

Bin zwar Rennradler, aber auch da kommt es bis zu einem gewissen Grad hin. Wobei beim Vergleich zweier 100% gleich starker Fahrer im Rennen schon das aerodynamisch bessere Material den Auschlag geben kann. (neben Fahrtechnik und Taktik.) Zu dem Video: Absolute klasse!

Or disturb animals!(yes people are idiot) Anyway the video was really good specially the edit was really professional and the hours that people spent on it.
