After vacuum & sealing, u need to release the air button on the left side by lifting it(not hold or press it there) so the air will escape & more easier to open.😁

Purchased this exact same one from Amazon for $28. The daughter and I were a 2 person team. Vacuum sealed pork chops, fish, leg quarters and some neck bones. Everything was air tight but more importantly it is a SPACE SAVER. For the money, it did the trick. By the way, once the button turns RED rotate that toggle button on the left until it releases. Good video 👌

Think I will get one
Its a good idea to put something like a book down in front of the vac sealer to rest the bag on. This levels the pack with the sealer and in my experience makes vacuuming easier for these little cheap machines. I've used one of these since 2015, sealed hundreds of bags and the machine is still going, money well spent.

I really hate mine i put boneless ribs in the bags and sealed them but it left a good amount of air still in the bags and I did exactly what was instructed on instructions and here too.

@@VansWorld Interestingly (I think so, anyway!) my use is for a sealer is related to my electric vehicle charging equipment retail business. I sell spare parts as well as much else and replacement rubber EV charging plug dust caps sell well. However, in their usual shape they cost UK£4 to post which makes it not viable as they are priced at only UK£8. *However*, if vacuum sealed in a bag they squish up nicely to allow postage costing only UK£0.88 and for a minute's work it turns from an unprofitable exercise to a very profitable one (the caps, themselves, cost nothing). So a cheap, simple, light duty sealer is just what I need!
My version of this device arrived a couple of days ago, badged 'Cadrim Vacuum Sealer' from Amazon UK£20 inc delivery to my far-flung neck of the woods and it came with a dozen or so practice sealing bags.
Observations:
1/ Works well as long as you follow the (quite good, for a change) instructions.
2/ *NO* creases should be allowed under the lid or it either won't make a good vacuum and/or the heat-sealing will let the air out before the seal is made.
3/ Put the shinny/smooth side of the bag *UP*. It will only work properly with special bags designed for vacuum machines. They are not especially expensive. If you are not interested in the vacuum side of things and just want a seal then use pretty much whatever plastic bag you want.
4/ If heat-sealing only, you may find that the standard 'one-push' (well, push and hold the lower button for a couple of seconds to initiate - the button turns red - and then release) sealing time is too much and the seal is over-done. You can cancel the heating time by pressing the button momentarily again. If you start counting as soon as you ress it, you can get used to a reduce but effective sealing time without making a mess.
5/ The vacuum release works by pushing it to one side - NOT (as I initially failed to realise) by pushing it down!
6/ You can hear when the vacuum is sucking properly with practise - the pump slows markedly and sounds like it is putting some effort into the procedure. If you don't get it right it will seal without a vacuum... which is annoying!
So, thus far, happy with the machine. How long that lasts (for £20), given I will be using it only lightly a few times a week (max, 10 seals a month), remains to be seen but I'll post an update in due course.

As you close the lid down the bag always moves a wee bit.
I put a 1 inch thick chopping board, right in front of the sealer, it lifts the bag inline with the machine, it stops the movement. 👍❤🙂🐶

Hey at least yours came with instructions! got a very similar one myself, took a little bit of trial and error to work it out. I have to press down on the centre of mine as well, the locks alone aren't enough to pull a good vacuum but apart from that it works great. Also on mine if you want a seal only it took me about a month to work out I have to push the "Seal/Vac Only" button twice... would have been good to have a manual for that one. Yours seems to have a seal only button though so that's good.

I'm liking this vacuum plus seal idea for sure. I've worked in food preparation and heat shrinked a lot of food but never vacuum sealed. I bet that helps with freshness. Less oxygen to oxidize. Ya know?
True that. I had a bag of jerky that was over a year old and it was just as fresh as the day i packaged it. I was amazed when i tasted it. lol

They buy things, get things as gifts that they never use. Got a 160.00 Sportsman Gamesaver Vacuum Sealer for for 3.99. Works beautifully, in the box with instructions . Get rolls of bag plastic on line so you can choose size of vacuum bags.
(In NC, Tuesday is seniors day @ goodwill.. 25 % off lol lol )

Mine was delivered this morning. The build quality is very poor, but it does work. I only paid £13.99 (about $17). The clips on the side are loose, so you have to push down on the lid slightly while vacuuming. Anyway, I successfully vac sealed some bacon and some English muffins. I only bought this as a stopgap until Lidl in the UK restocks the SilverCrest sealer.
The vacum is not very easy to suck. They should have an easie way. It would take the whole day for a hundred of bags

I bought one similar to this from Temu it vacuumed fine red light came on then turned green holding lid down the whole time but will not seal tried several times no seal yet do you think I have a faulty machine doing everything you said
Well, this is the first time i actually used a vacuum sealer. My mother in law has one that works in seconds. I needed a cheap one because i wouldn't be using it that much. What i learned is you get what you pay for. Its small and cheap works slow and the vacuum is not very strong. Bottom line i wouldn't recommend it to no one. Have a great day!👍

I got one of those from Ebay and after a month it wouldn't vacuum and seal
I will bet that a lot of these people will find the same thing, but will forget to come back and make a report.
I picked up an older used vacuum sealer , (no name on it).
It used a heat wire to seal and the wire would sometimes burn through the bag leaving it unsealed.

You need to partially freeze the meat so the blood won’t run.
I always freeze first, then vac seal. Then moisture is not a problem.

Mine just arrived home. I thought it wasn't vaccuming, till I got the bag the right way on the sealer. Just make sure to get the opening of the bag all on the vacuum chamber.

Odd, I have this very same sealer and can't get it to work. It wont seal.
Try pushing down on the lid while it's vacuuming and sealing. You can't rely on the side clips to hold the two shells together.

Any vacuum seal bag will work. Chamber sealer bags will not work.
I can't get it to vacuum my bag enough to be sealed. My bags are probably too thick.

That’s definitely true. High end machines will allow you to seal before the juice enters the machine. But it will still happen. The best sealer for wet foods is a chamber sealer.

It's not going to hurt you! The lid is plastic. It's not like you're touching any live components. Anyway, the instructions clearly state to push down on the lid while it's vacuuming.

Yes, indeed. But mine was so incredibly cheap and it did seal the food, so as a temporary gadget it will do.
It's a terrible vacuum sealer it's junk it's a hit-and-miss sometimes at Larkspur area sometimes it doesn't
some of these are totally useless you have to put a lot of pressure on the lid before it will produce some vacuum, by that time the sealer sealed the bag and you need to snip it off an try again. Go for a more expensive model
