I have a couple of One Tigris chair, the smaller profile back and the large profile back. Love them both. Lightweight, easy to assemble. The one thing I can say though, the elastic cords holding the metal parts together DO NOT do well in extreme cold. The elastic bands lose their elasticity and when you lift the chair the metal frames fall apart. Great gear for any temps above 20 F/ -6 C. Sames goes for their cots, so be mindful if you love extreme cold weather camping like I do.
I love my Onetigris chair. I take it with me every trip I go on. I'm not a small dude at 6' 3" and 280 pounds, and the chair is on its third year and still going strong.
This is got to know thanks, is it the smaller promenade version? Is it suitable for backpacking? I bought the tall one and it’s big and heavy, it’s more for car camping.
Hi Ste, I have the Trekology chair. So far, so good. Although I haven't used it much yet. Good to know the One Tigris is better build quality. I'll have to try and get one. I didn't want to spend over $100 for a chair. like the Helinox (nose bleed). I'm like you, I can't sit cross legged on the ground, My knees don't cooperate that way either. I definitely need a chair to have with me.
Hey Jeff great to hear from you bud. Yeah the heliox chair is bloody expensive for what it offers. The onetigris is holding up nicely. Worth every penny. Take it easy pal.
Good video geezer I Love these chairs I got a cheap one from Amazon.. I strap mine to the bottom of my bag it doesn’t ad to much weight. I’d recommend these chairs .. and I loved the intro geezer
Hi mate, thanks for the review. Love it. I bought the bigger tigris chair but it’s too big and heavy to fit in a backpack. Is the smaller one small enough to fit in a big hiking bag? Also, what are those pants your wearing? Cheers..
Hiya buddy the onetigris promenade chair does certainly fit into a pack. Also the bushcraft trousers are fjallraven vidda pro. Hope this helps. Take care.
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors thanks for tbh e reply, I’ll take a punt on the promenade chair. Is it stable enough for a big guy though as this version just has the double struts at the bottom. I’ve heard good things about those pants but I might try the helikon pilgrim pants instead for half the price lol

@@anonymous4201 It is smaller than the high back version, but it is not considered ultralite. With that said it goes with me every time regardless.
