Traveling once a year is not often haha. I traveled 4 or 5 times to Europe, America, Australia and Japan each year and felt it's not that often. What about Fixed Deposit? Thinking of putting a chunk of money into it - don't like investment in stocks and bonds.
For fixed deposit, I'm not sure what's the best options - can see with the banks directly Last time I went to UOB they gave me the options of a 10 months one, but I forgot the rates
@@new_to_singapore Yea, the fixed deposit rate of banks in Singapore aren't attractive anymore - the best rate is Bank of China of 3.35 percent for 3 months. Have been visiting banks for the past month. Lol
On peut ouvrir un compte off-shore a OCBC en n'étant pas resident a Singapour ( Minimum 200 k singapore Dollar )

It is possible to open a bank account as a tourist? I have an OCBC opened remotely on their apps, are there any banks that allow tourists?
No, you can’t open an account as a tourist in Singapore as you have to give a prof of local residential address
Actually i am TEP only for 4 months
Can i eligible to open local bank account
Might not be possible as you need to show at least 6 months of allowed stay in Singapore!
For students?????
I think student can get a debit card - not sure about credit card
Dbs is best for Singapore
It’s the easiest to setup at first but might not offer the best rates!
