I am so excited to play this game. I may not be a fan of the bg art but the character art is pretty sweet, and the story seems to have been worth waiting for. Super thanks for reviewing visual novels and otome games, it helps me get into the genre so much easier now that it's properly available😊
So Virche is a standalone game or at least first in its series, right? When I was looking at releases, I saw the colon and thought it might be a sequel or something, but if it’s not, I definitely want to check it out. (I had similar confusion with Even if tempest - I kept trying to find some original Even if). Thank you for covering otome games! It truly is appreciated and you do a great job of it!
I don't think they will review the game since it's been out for a while but there are some good reviews by other people on youtube. Personally I love Even if Tempest. It is very dark but had a happy ending. It kinda reminded me of The house in fata morgana. But keep in mind that it has a forced route order and you have to play the bad endings first which can be a downside for some people
@@leaf269 thanks for commenting. I eventually bought both, I personally enjoyed virche more than even if tempest. Both aren’t perfect but good, I breezed through virche and enjoyed it more. The romance was quite heavy in my opinion even more than even if tempest for such dark themes and angst which is why I think I finished it.
Does this game have any non-consensual love scenes? I’m fine with a bit of violence, I just don’t want to play anything where the female lead gets smxally azzlted by any of the male leads. Makes me feel bad for her, especially if the female lead is anything like the girls from Amnesia or Ozmafia.
What do you mean? Is this a bad game or something for you? Or is it the fact that it's a visual novel or that it's an otome game (aimed at young girls and women)? When it comes to visual novels, I almost always play visual novels aimed at boys and young men, but I have played my fair share of good otome games too. My first one was Code Realize and that was amazing!

Maybe for once...visual novels don't need to be super interactive to be very good? Not every one has to be like Danganronpa/Ace Attorney. Also, if you looked at NPN's review on Charade Maniacs, it was a very disappointing game, so I'm glad Virche Evermore was an enjoyment.
