we all know lisa would have gone all hong kong phooey on that dude if he had got too close 😂 great stream guys
Nice stream. Good to see John doesn't always get into too much trouble.
I just watched the last episode of Seinfeld lastnight and restarted it lol..
Lisa will have to do a snail episode for us.
Glad you are both OK x
Aquashella suggestion: Phoenix AZ in the winter. Temps in the 70s, less than six hours from Los Angeles, short flight times from most of the west coast.
I,m so lucky the Indy 500 is in a rain delay right now because you guys are. Keeping me from getting bored.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🐠🐠
I would love to own Mystery snails! Unfortunately, they're prohibited to keep here.
@KGTropicals when hurricane Florence hit us in Wilmington NC in 2018 we were without power for 8 days. Fortunately we didn't have tanks at that particular time. Better listen to Lisa and test those generators.
Go see Rick in person! And bring snacks, they love snacks 🙂
Do we really need to hear about Seinfeld? I tune in for aquarium talk. 😳
Definitely agree
There was a lot of other non fish related talk but the Seinfeld part bothered you the most?
I'm glad that there was at least one entertaining show from Seinfeld
I started I thought with one snail , now I have millions, I’m not kidding and my sucker fish won’t stop pro creating HELP
I was given a big round tub and am thinking about doing a small outdoor pond. Still undecided right now.
To day is my nightmare I never quarantine fish. I did for the first time and they all died. I don't know what is next for me
Love to here your thoughts on the ff method
How about Orlando? Right next door to Walt Disney World.🦊🐼🐼🐼
Dang man we lost power in my town in Nebraska 130 am :( but i got one portable air pump one tank is OK lol
Oh man! Ok apologies to begin with, I just removed about 200-300 mystery snails from a tank i just rescaped. I have them all currently in a 10 gallon, they seem to be doing fine but you mentioned 2 for a 10. Admittedly I pulled them to allow them to breed and feed a few on occasion to my sharks. This being said, my LFS told me they would give me cash for them. Have I mistaken them first a nuisance because I have tanks that pump them out? Seriously?
Got a dumb question. Tomorrow is the 3 week mark for my sponge filter I've been seeding to cycle a tank. I'm planning on getting fish tomorrow and leak test the tank right now. Can I add filter water and fish same day? Or do I need to wait a bit after adding the filter to the new tank? I plan on getting either 2 clown killifish male/female. Or 1 dwarf pea puffer. Tank is a 5.5gal.
Just yesterday, I had a ramshorn snail that probably should have died, due to my own clumsiness. The ramshorns in that tank like to hang out on top of the heaters or filters near the surface (it's a shallow tank to begin with, being only 7 inches tall, so everything that isn't on the bottom is near the surface...), and I managed to trip over a cable, that caused a cascade of cables being jerked around, and, well, two large, old ramshorns who must have been sitting on top of a heater or filter were thrown clear out of the tank and onto the hardwood floor below. One of them didn't have any obvious (external) damage so I dropped him back in the tank and 10 or 15 minutes later he was crawling around like nothing happened and seems totally fine.
The other one, rather horrifically, was lying in a big ol' pool of blood by the time I noticed him a minute or two later. Which, incidentally, it turns out ramshorns are one of the few (maybe only?) aquatic snail species with red blood instead of blue! When I picked him up, I could see all the mantle was completely shattered the whole way around. None the less, after removing the shattered shell fragments, I dared to put him back in the tank, in a very safe, quiet spot, and see what would happen. It took a good hour or two, but he eventually showed some signs of life, so he clearly wasn't killed outright during the ejection. Now it is more than 24 hours later and he is crawling all around the tank. I can't say exactly like normal, but he is getting around. I hope he is still able to eat, I'd like to think that snail will survive my oafishness; losing a critter due to your own stupidity is the worst. Even if it is just a pest snail. I'm also rather surprised the blood loss didn't kill him. Surely a ramshorn can't have all that much blood in its body, and it lost a lot, yet here we are, it's still alive an entire day later. Amazing to see it, but I'm very happy for it.

4 Weeks No Power. Living off the grid is possible. Not fun, but possible. 🙄
Most people move every 5-7 years mainly due to jobs. One reason many do not know neighbors names as neighbors always coming and going. We pull into garages and close the door behind us.
I don't think that's true at all
Betta groups are notorious for being extremely judgemental. I've gotten booted from so many of those groups, especially the ones that don't like sororities because I think sororities are important and fish to fish interaction is important for bettas to not get depressed.

Hey guys! I missed the live 😢 Lisa, have you considered breeding any saltwater snails?? Would much rather purchase from you.😊
I haven't ventured into the world of saltwater snails yet. But you never know 🤷♀️
Lisa
