No Mr. Tedder, please don't remix "Apologize", the original OneRepublic version (not the Timbaland garbage, which was a massive L for Timbaland since I love him so much for his works with Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake) was already absolutely perfect. Especially you don't need any rappers to have any say in that song, you did sing it good at "One Night In Malibu" and you did kinda give it a little bit of a new look singing it a bit different from the album version, and that's fine, but please, I beg you, don't make garbage out of an absolutely legendary song and probably the most favourite song in my entire life

Ryan when you talk about California music of course The Beach Boys sound, but for this California girl it’s Fleetwood Mac,nbecause of Lyndsey and Stevie, Journey and Then the Gogo’s, No Doubt. I don’t think of Rap as a Californian sound in a positive way. Back in the day I was able to see just about any concert I wanted to attend. Best concert Paul McCartney and the worst Bon Jovi and Whitney Houston (probably because she was high as a kite). But Pat Benatar, Journey and Sting were worth seeing twice in one tour. Love the old stuff of One Republic and the new stuff. Your quarantine sessions were a lifesaver, because I was living by myself and had a very small circle of people who were in my circle.
