The "Ghost Division" was the 7th Panzer Division under command of Erwin Rommel who was part of the German force that entered Belgium and then France. It moved forward so fast that the French high command and sometimes even the German high command could not keep track of the division. One day it was on a specific place and a few hours later it was spotted 100 km away already. Because of that the French gave it the nickname "la division phantom", "the ghost division" because they appeared and disappeared so suddenly on the battlefield, defeating all the defending troops in their way. There is a great episode about it on Sabaton History (www.youtube.com/@SabatonHistory ) where the band and Indie Neidell (an american-swedish historian) talk about the song and the history it is based on. They have specific episodes for almost all of Sabatons catalogue there.
