      Keep under medium to low light, and dose the aquarium with plant fertilizers. Not alot though. They don't need much

    You are a god. My airline tubing isn't rigid enough to completely stop agitation and so I fear it'll negatively impact the plants. Will be doing this ASAP!

    Nice first method that actually worked. What are you supposed to do during a water change though? All the duckweed is just gonna cross ober

    Straws are great, l am using some to hold anacharis to sides of tank to stop Betta from glass surfing.

    Why in my fish tank these duckweeds turn my water level like oily?

    • @JJMTrucking
      @JJMTrucking  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unknown User the top of the water surface looks oily? It's not a bad thing. It's sorta normal. It happens when there isn't alot of water agitation at the surface. It's okay and nothing to worry about. To get rid of it you can add surface agitation or get a surface skimmer.

      Those oils are lipids (fats). Its from the fish food. Surface movement will clear it right up for you. Went through the same thing.

    Hey quick question what r u using there to hold back your floaters with? I've tried dozens of methods such as fishing line to straws made in squares and yet I seem to still have trouble any chance you could lemme know what you got there 😉😉😉👉

    Great video! A question: what do you think about covering your tank, what's better for salvinia covered or uncovered? Thanks

      I always had an open lid because it liked the way it looked better. I feel uncovered would be better for salvinia.
