I only did one tandem back in april 2021, at skydive southwest in punta gorda, florida... I really want to get my aff soon, Watching your videos makes me want to get it at skydive deland... i can feel the love through the screen with you and your people lol

I Skydive because it scares me. I have just over 200 jumps and it still scares me. But when I'm in that door and it's go time, I never think twice. That's probably because everyone behind me is yelling go go go lol

Hey Salvador, probably this is a weird question but lmk if you can answer it.
Are you required to be a U.S citizen or permanent resident in the US to start your AFF ? Do you think a guy like me with no status in the US but with work authorization and Driver’s License can start skydiving?
Ooouuffff… that’s a tough question brother. If I was you I would call your local Drop Zone and ask them that question. I’m sure they would be able to better assist you. I wish I could help but I’m not properly informed and would hate to give you false information. Blue skies, I hope it works out and you can jump!!

We have lots of people come from other countries to do AFF in deland.
You don't need anything at all. It (skydiving) isn't regulated by the FAA - only the airplanes and pilots are. Your money is as good as anyone else's.
I’ve never seen a perfectly good skydive airplane 😂😂 they are always sketchy and it feels safer to jump out of it lol

All very good answers. I can relate to pretty much all of them. As skydivers we know why we all do it. People that don't jump will never understand and that's ok. It's not for everyone........just us

When people say why jump out of a perfectly good airplane, I usually respond, why do you jump out of a perfect boat to go swimming.

Could you do a video on how skydivers overcome their fears? Especially student jumpers. Someone close to me is looking to transition from tandem to AFF; they feel bad over not making a solo jump.

Hey Aaron, In my opinion choosing to skydive is a personal choice. The individual has to want it for themselves. I believe the real question is, dose the individual want to skydive solo, and if the answer is yes, do they want to skydive solo bad enough to over come a fear they have that is stopping them? I’m a firm believer that all fears are made up. Fears are limiting beliefs we create for ourselves and over coming that blockade is a personal journey. The individual has to want it for themselves. Once again, just my personal opinion. Hope it helps, blue skies brother 🤙🏼

This is cringe but I want to skydive cause it’s been my life long dream to become a skydiver! I saw someone falling from the sky when I was 5 and ever since I wanted to live that dream! I can relate to most of the folks you asked- but none more than Tru.
I have bad, bad PTSD, which is an anxiety disorder.
When I jump out of a plane it all goes away and nothing matters but the next few minutes.
You go, Tru..!
Also, everyone I've met at the dropzone are really cool and friendly and easy to talk to- unlike my experience of most folks in the general public.

My.parents have a place in DeLand I have been at skydive soany time but never went skydiving always wanted to if yall.ever give out another free skydive let me.know. it will help.me so.much in.life thankyou

Ive done one tandem skydive and going bk for more and want to get my licence. I suffer with anxiety and depression and during free fall all that goes away and thd only thing that exists is the moment. The adrenaline is also amazing.
Good. I have a lot of skydiving brothers whose lives were made far better (perhaps even rescued) by the sport. Have a look at Jeb Corliss and why he does what he does. He's an amazing guy, and unlike many, he's focused on his sport and not on himself.

Awesome video Salvador! David and Colbe both touched on quite a few of the reasons I also Skydive and can totally relate to their responses! 😁🤙🏼 Like David, it all started with a desire and after my 1st Tandem when I was 23, the fire 🔥 was LIT! Like Colbe, I also am a Christian ✝️ and know where I'm going, so Nothing is keeping me from being in the skys where i aspire to spend eternity anyway, lol...! 😎🙏🏼 After 2 more Tandems in subsequent years, I joined the Army and became a Parachute Rigger because it Guaranteed I would be Airborn... I have been out since 2014 and this year I decided I need to fulfill my dreams to be a Skydiver and started AFF back in April. I am 3 jumps away from my A-License now and I'm already thinking about my next 25 jumps and B-License etc, lol! Good job with your channel 👏 (I'm new to it) and tha ks foe the awesome content, keep it coming! 😁🤙🏼🪂

I have never done a skydive before, but in the near future, I want to do a tandem, and then work on getting my license to jump by myself. I want to do this cause I suffer from anxiety, and want to prove to myself that I can do it. I believe that skydiving will be a big help for my anxiety.
